Hello everyone!!!! This is part 2 of Mitsuba X Reader fluff!! If you have not read the first chapter please do!! Also, this chapter is going to continue when they go on there little picnic :)

Narrator's POV
When the day had finally ended Y/N ran out of class to go straight to grab her things from her locker.
She quickly packed all her stuff into her book bag and grabbed her bento.
After that, she ran out and saw Mitsuba sitting in the tree with her Polaroid taking pictures of things he thought was pretty.
He took one picture of a Cherry Blossom. He planned to write something sweet on it to thank her later.
"Mitsuba!!!!!" Y/N yelled while the cool breeze flew through her flowing H/C hair.
When Mitsuba looked over he was in pure awe.
She looked so pretty that he wanted to take a picture of that exact moment and cherish it forever.
She delicately walked over to Mitsuba while carrying the small bento and her book bag.
She lightly placed down her jacket and then placed down the food.
"Thank you Mitsuba-Kun for agreeing to this picnic!" Y/N said while opening the container and sitting on her knees.
Mitsuba just floated down to sit then nodded his head while trying to cover up his face because of a little blush.
'Damnit why does she have to be so pretty!!' Mitsuba thought.
"Mitsuba-Kun?"
"Yes-..?" Mitsuba stuttered.
"Would you prefer the strawberry macaron or the coffee macaron?" She said while slightly leaning over and holding the bento box that was unwrapped with fancy paper and fancy decorated macaroons.
"Ummm Strawberry," Mitsuba said while leaning over too.
When they both looked up they were inches apart.
Both of the two blushed and yanked themselves back.
"I'M SORRY MITSUBA-KUN!!!" Y/N said while placing down the bento box and covering her face.
"IT'S FINE Y/N JUST- WELL IDK..!!!!" Mitsuba said while trying to find the right words.
Y/N quickly got a lacy napkin and put the macaron on top then she gave it to him.
"Thanks.." Mitsuba said while still blushing.
'If only she wasn't afraid to pull away and would have kissed me, or if I had kissed her..' he thought.
As they both enjoyed their macaroons in silence, Y/N decided to speak.
"Mitsuba-Kun the real reason I asked you to this picnic was for a good reason," Y/N said while placing down her napkin with some of the macarons still on it.
"And what is that reason?" Mitsuba asked while taking another bite.
Y/N took one big deep breath before talking "I- Umm... I REALLY LIKE YOU MITSUBA-KUN" she spat out.
Mitsuba then chocked on his macaron before looking back at her.
"You LiKe mE?" Mitsuba asked confused.
"But- But why?!?" He asked again.
"You're just fun to be with! Plus you're kinda cute" Y/N said while mumbling that last part.
Mitsuba blushed hearing that last part "Well truth be told Y/N, I actually like you too..." he finally admitted.
"Really?!?" The girl asked while standing up.
"Yes..." The pink-haired boy said while looking to the side.
Y/N then hugged Mitsuba and whispered something in his ear.
"Thank you Mitsuba-Kun..."
