Kou's POV
As I came into class I noticed a new kid sitting right next to my desk.
He had H/C hair, E/C eyes, and he had a F/C bag.
I know it can be hard on your first day at a new school so I went over to my desk and sat right beside him.
"Hello there!!! Are you by any chance new?" I asked while waving my hand at him.
I then saw him close his phone screen and looked over to me.
It looked like he was on Instagram looking at.... memes?
"Oh sup and yeah today's my first day." He said before turning his phone back on.
"Cool! By the way, I'm sorry to be all up in your business but what memes are you looking at?"
He chuckled before pulling back up to the meme and showed me.

I froze in place while my eyes were wide.
'This boy's kinda dark' I thought
He smiled more at the meme before saving it and turning off his phone.
"I'm so sorry I haven't introduced myself!!! I'm Y/N L/N." He said while smiling at me and reaching his hand out.
"Hmmm... why hello there... Y/N-Kun?"I said while shaking his hand hoping I said his name right.
"What is your name?" He asked while breaking the handshake.
"Kou Minamoto," I said while smiling trying my best not to seem strange to him.
"Why hello 'Kou-Kun'" he said while waving to me.
"What interests do you have Y/N-Kun?"
"Umm you don't really need to be so formal with me right now and I enjoy looking at memes, (insert list of hobbies)." He said.
"Oh sorry!!! But that sounds nice!! Hey if you don't have anyone to sit with do you want to maybe sit together at lunch? I know the first day can be hard without knowing anyone!" I said while smiling at him.
I then saw him blush before nodding his head.
"Cool, see you then!!" I said before I heard the teacher walking in.
(Time skip to lunch!!!)
I looked around the room to try and see Y/N but didn't see him yet.
"Kou, who are you looking for?" One of my friends asked me.
"Oh, I invited this one new kid named Y/N to come sit with us!"
I then saw Y/N's face out the corner of my eye and knew right away it was him.
"Y/N!!!! Over here!!!" I said while waving my hand in the air and moving my bag so that Y/N could sit next to me.
I saw him wave back to me and walk towards my direction.
He waved to me while setting his bag down and waving to me and then all my friends.
"Hello, I'm Y/N L/N. You can just call me Y/N though I don't really want people to be so formal with me." He stated while officially sitting down.
I saw my friends smile at me before look back at him and asking him all sorts of questions.
"Do you play any sports?"
"Do you like to draw?"
"Do you like reading manga or watching anime?"
"Wow, one question at a time! And yes on that last one." He said while waving his hands in the air signaling them.
After I and my friends all talked to Y/N they asked him to sit with us again tomorrow.
He agreed and then looked back to me.
"Thank you for inviting me, Kou ..." He said while blushing and smiling at me.
I blushed back and responded with "No problem..."
I saw him smile some more and then turned back to talk to my friends.

Oh my goodness this is kinda short but I hope you guys liked it :)
This kinda reminded me of mean girls at their lunch table but I think it turned out pretty cute!!!!
