Chapter Nine
I ran over to Jade who was lying on the floor, face down.
"Sam, what happened?" I yelled.
"What?" Sam turned around. "Oh shit!"
Jade flopped over and I saw a giant smile on her face. She took a deep breath in and let out a really loud cackle. I plopped down on the ground and threw my hands up, letting out a massive sigh of relief.
"You're drunk." I smiled.
She held her index finger and her thumb about a quarter inch apart and laughed.
"No, a lot." I laughed. "What time is it?"
A couple people took out their phones.
"Almost 1:00." Lewis said.
"I think you should go back to the hotel." I said to Jade.
"But the party's just started!" She mumbled.
"Well, I think it's ending now."
"No!" She whined.
"Yep. Come on."
"Sammy, make her stop!" She whined as I unsuccessfully tried to help her up.
"Caspar, help." I said.
He came up behind her and put his hands under her arms and stood her on her feet.
"Sam, are you drunk?" I asked.
"Tipsy, not drunk." He smiled.
"Help her to the car?"
"No problem."
"Cher!" I called.
"Yea!" She said into the microphone.
"We're going back to the hotel, Jade's plastered."
She shot me a thumbs up. "Attention everyone!"
Every head in the room turned toward the stage.
"Ayley is going back to the hotel with a bunch of people. Hands up if you're staying."
A couple people who were obviously as drunk as Jade raised their hands.
"So we're all going back then!" Cher smiled and raised her eyebrows.
I laughed and shot her a thumbs up.
Myself, Cher, Caspar, Liam, Finn, and Chase drank very little, if not none (in my case) so together, we collected our friends and made our way back to the hotel. It took us two limos and a separate cab just to get everyone from the venue (which I still didn't know the name of) back to the hotel. We had accumulated thirty-four people including myself along the way and three quarters of them were drunk, or halfway there.
When we got back to the hotel, everyone who wasn't drunk helped everyone who was drunk into their hotel rooms. When I plopped Niall down onto the bed in our room, he fell fast asleep instantly. Just as I sat down beside him to check my phone, there was a knock at the door. Niall sort of twitched a bit and rolled over but remained asleep and I went to the door. When I opened it, I saw Caspar standing in front of me wearing only a pair of plaid pajama pants.
"What are you doing?" I asked.
"I'm bored."
"Why aren't you wearing a shirt?"
"I never wear a shirt to bed. Only in the winter."
"Oh." I said.
"Yea."
