Danarya's P.O.V.
I felt a stinging sensation in my heart as I looked towards Mordor. I didn't know what it was, but Riatis felt it as well. He turned towards the north and let out a sad, heart wrenching cry. Ensley and Eliar went north. I thought to myself. "What happened Riatis? What is it?" I asked the dragon. He turned towards me and looked me right in the eye. It's Vykien. She's dead. She died due to the death of her rider. A silent tear slid from my eye as I mourned the loss of my sister. "And what of Thaebir?" I asked Riatis, hoping that nothing had happened to Eliar as well. Thaebir still lives. He protects your brother with his life.
I stood in the upper courtyard of the keep until it was almost dawn. I felt my eyes drooping and my entire body getting heavy. Come here my child. Riatis said as he took me in his tail, curling me into his body. Sleep now my child. All will be well soon enough. With the words and warmth from Riatis I drifted off into a dreamless slumber.

I awoke laying in a bed at almost mid day. I stood from the bed and slipped my shoes on before exiting the room. "Lord Denethor wishes to see you in the throne room, m'lady." One of the guards posted outside of my room said to me as I closed the door. I nodded my head and asked, "Do either of you fine gentlemen care to point me in the direction of Lord Denethor?" Before either man could speak up, the older of the two boys from yesterday rounded the corner and took my arm in his. "Come, I will show you the way."
The walk to Lord Denethor was short but awkward. When we stopped outside of the door I said, "Thank you good sir, but I must be going now." He gave me a slight smile and said, "Please, call me Boromir." I gave him a nod of my head and then walked into the throne room. When I entered the hall, Lord Denethor was seated at what seemed to be a mid day feast. "You summoned me my Lord." I said while bowing towards him. He stood and said, "Enough with the pleasantries girl. It is obvious that you have the upper hand in the power department with that dragon of yours. She is a real beauty." I nodded my head and looked out the window at my dragon and said, "He really is beautiful. Riatis and I have known each other for only a short period of time, but we have become dependent on each other."
For the next bit of time I stood there in silence while Lord Denethor ate his baby tomatoes and lamb steak covered in a mushroom gravy. My stomach let out a growl just at the thought of the food. "Sit child. Eat with me; we have much to discuss." I sat at the opposite end of him and started to put things on my plate. It hit me just then that the last real meal I had was the night that my mother broke the news to us that our family was going to be split apart for what seemed like the rest of our lives.
"What would a man of my power and stature have to do to get an army of them?" Denethor asked as he gestured to Riatis. I let out a chuckle as I said, "Even if you had the power to command an army of dragons, there isn't an army of them left in all of Middle Earth." He let out a grunt before asking, "How many are left? Twenty? Thirty?" I put some more gravy on my steak before answering him. "There's only six left." Tears welled up in my eyes after the words rolled off of my tongue. "Well..." I corrected myself, "There are actually only five left now." Disappointment went across his face. "And how did someone like you come across one? What makes your lineage better than mine?" He asked. I looked up at him, starting to get sick and tired of his questions. "My siblings and I are the last of the line of Riders. Only someone with our blood can bond with a dragon. Now if I could please be excused." I said, pushing myself away from the table. He dismissed me with a wave of his hand and continued eating while looking out his window at Riatis.
I exited the room and tried to find my way back to mine. I only wound up more lost than I had ever been in my entire life. The more I walked around the keep, the more and more I didn't recognize anything around me.
After about an hour or two of just wandering around, I finally made my way back to my small room. I walked past the guards and collapsed onto my bed, burying my face into my pillow, letting my tears flow free.
When my tears stopped flowing, I felt the dehydration setting into my body. I stood from my bed and walked over to the clay bowl that held a small amount of water in it. I cupped my hands and dipped it in the bowl, trying to collect as much water as I could. The water wasn't cold, but it would quench my thirst. I brought my hands up to my mouth and sipped the water from them.

Gruvas' P.O.V.
The child was close. I could feel it in my bones. "My Lord, if you could convert her to our side, we could use it as leverage over her mother." I told the dark Lord Sauron. He has less than half of the strength that he needs to be at to take over all of Middle Earth, but he grew stronger every day. I felt a force wrap around my neck and then I heard a bone chilling voice echo through my head. "Leave the girl... for now. Head to Moria. Another dragon rider awaits his death." The force let go of my throat and I gasped for air.
When I had caught my breath, I looked towards the dark throne and said, "As you wish m'lord." After that I disappeared into the darkness of Mordor.

Alecor's P.O.V.
Sapha and I landed in front of Moria in the first light of dawn. Something isn't right. Gandalf said that we were supposed to take back Moria, not be welcomed by it. I thought as I slid out of Sapha's saddle. The air did not reek of orcs or goblins, but instead smelled of an early morning feast. We are too early. Sapha said through our link as I walked towards the large stone doors. "That we are." I said to her, "But maybe now we can make it to where none of these innocent dwarves have to die." I added over my shoulder as I knocked on the stone doors.
