"Welcome to our world!" Felix watches as his father outstretches his arms to the side talking to the outsiders.
It spread quickly around the castle once Jackson knew, another guard rushing to inform the King, while Jackson and a few others made their way out to fetch them. Curiosity struck him and both his sisters, the trio hiding up off to the side, peeking over the railings into the entry room.
Olivia wanted to head down and meet them, but with both Felix and Rachel being very anxious about that idea she decided to hold off on it. This is the first time something truly interesting has happened here and she isn't able to be a part of it, but she also loves her siblings so doing what they ask hopefully will be worth it.
Felix has heard countless stories about the other world, everyone is a little bit intrigued by it. No one actually knows where the world currently stands and everyone has been curious. But with rules and regulations regarding the portal, no one would enter. It's only because of the concern of getting people back. Their world has some ability to control the portal, but it is still an improving effort. One day, they will be able to meet with the other world, but that won't be for many, many years.
"This is strange," Rachel comments, looking down at the boys, "we've never had this many people accidentally stumble upon the portal."
"I think this is awesome," Olivia says, "they can tell us so many things about their world!"
Out of the three, Olivia is definitely the most fascinated, thrilled by the idea of someone entering their world. She has read so many books and journal entries describing what the other world is like, but those are fairly outdated and they have never had the opportunity to update that information. Felix and Rachel are interested, but they like to observe from afar, too scared to actually come in contact with people from the other world.
"Can we go down and talk to them now, just staring is boring," Olivia whines.
"No," Rachel tells her, "besides I'm sure father will hold a dinner for them, and then we will all meet them."
Olivia pouts as the three of them watch their father lead the boys away. Down the hall where they usually allow the guests to stay. She will get another chance to see them and ask them all the questions she has been dying to. So, Felix doesn't feel all that bad for her missing her chance now, especially because he really doesn't want to be around for when it happens.
He isn't against his father letting them stay here, but Felix isn't thrilled. Felix has never been great with social interactions, especially when he doesn't know the people. Talking with the townspeople has only been doable since he has always had another person with him.
However, here Felix has the upper hand. And from the brief conversation he overheard, it seems they only care about getting back home. So, Felix is planning on getting through one, maybe two meals and then never having to see them again.
"Come on, we should probably go," Rachel tells them, standing up from her hiding place, "we don't want mom or dad finding out that we were hiding up here."
Felix and Olivia agree, standing up and following their older sister. Their parents wouldn't have loved the idea of them snooping around. So, the three siblings' part, returning to the separate rooms, where they can go back to their designated studies and continue on with what used to be an uneventful day.

Jeongin wakes with a heavy and plush covering around him, the mattress under him incredibly soft and comfortable. After taking their friends to the doctor, they determined that they were fine, but the impact of the portal kept them out a little longer. Chan and Hyunjin were the first to enter, and Minho lead the front of the group when they went after them, so when explained it makes sense.
