Raza's POV
Last night... It was something I didn't expect would happen.
After dropping Dua home I went to kashafs apartment but didn't have the courage to go in. Something inside of me was telling me to not go. To just go back home and get over with this night.
The longer I sat there in the parking lot Dua's honey brown eyes came in my view. How her pupils dialated when I held her close or the grin that spread on her face when I slapped her. I slapped her for goodness sake. I Raza shoaib slapped a woman. Oh God what have I done. I wronged my mother yet again.
"Abuse is something that starts from our own homes Raza. The society is something that isn't bad its the people who are bad. Because without people there is no society. Never wrong a woman Raza for she has the strength to either make you or break you." Ammis voice ran through my ears.
"But I'm not wronging anyone Dua broke me the moment she thought she could have her time with her lover in the bathroom" I tried to reason with my self but couldn't. Deep down I knew that Dua hasn't done anything and maybe things are not as I think they are but then what I saw is enough for me to know she's in an affair. She's cheating on me just like sadaf. She was just the same as Dua. Pretending to be loyal up front and cheating behind the back.
"Isn't that what you're doing?" MY conscience said
"SHUT UPP" I yelled. My head was hurting not because of Dua but because of sadaf I still haven't forgotten her nor forgiven but I think if she comes back I might just forgive her and move on with her. Dua is not my type sadaf was, is and will be.
I didn't knew I was driving till I stopped in front of a club. I went inside and straight to the bar. I ordered my drink or should I say drinks.
After drinking I was a bit tipsy not fully wasted. I drove home after almost crashing my car twice. I stumbled up the door. I was looking for the keys when the door opened making me fall inside since I was leaning against it Dua helped me to stand.
"No don't touch me with your filthy hands. You're just a piece of filth" I slurred trying to push her away.
"Noo don't..." I sleepily said. She rolled her eyes at me. She's been doing that a lot tonight I've noticed but it seems attractive to me I don't know why.
"I said don't." This time I raised my voice making it the dominating voice of the real Raza shoaib making her loosening her hold on me and stepping back. The fear that spread through her eyes went away just as fast as it came.
"I can take care of my self" I said and tried walking but failed and she held me up again.
"I SAID STAY AWAY" my voice roared through the empty walls of the house.
"WHO IS IT?" came Abba's dominant voice. I looked up to see Abba standing at the head of the stair case.
Shit now he's going to kill me for sure.
"Well when you know he's a dangerous man the Azan shoaib because whom your The Raza shoaib then why do you mess with him?" My conscience said
Abba could be scary at times and this this is the times.
"WHAT HAVE YOU DONE? HAVE YOU BEEN DRINKING AGAIN?" Abba asked and if looks could kill I would've been six feet under but thank god they couldn't.
"Dua beta move I'll take him to the room." He said and moved forward to help me stand. He supported me up. He was old but not enough to not be able to support me. I mean my friends parents are so frail and small but this old man. Ohh I could proudly say if he wanted to marry again he had the looks and the money to find any old lady or even a young one. No I'm not gay. He's just a built and mascular guy.
