{Let's assume that without you we cried a lot, didnot sleep for many nights}
Raza's POV
"Baba would you mind if I ask why are you forcing an already married girl into marrying me?" I asked baba its getting annoying , if this is one of his other ways of annoying me then he's succeeding excellently.
"Well for your information she's not married she's divorced they had issues that I don't know about and hence why she's been divorced for 8 years now. If it wouldn't have been for kashan asking for her hand in marriage then muskan and I surely would've." Baba said, the thing that caught my attention was weren't they so awfully in love with each other then how come they're divorced and by the way where is kashan ever since I came back I haven't seen him or even heared of him.
"OK but then what's with the attitude why can't she just talk for once huh?" I asked fed up with the silent behavior of hers who does she think she is.
"Beta we don't know her parents said its been like that ever since she came back. They haven't shared much information about what happened but they said she lost her voice after an accident that's all we now." Baba answered. Wow the chatter box is permanently silent
"Mr Raza Shoaib thank Allah for the voice you have and ask Allah's forgiveness for what you've said." Baba concluded did I just day that out loud "yes you did" mehek said. Whatever at least the only pro of this marriage would be her being mute and not eating my head off.
But then again why did they separate.
We reached home and retired to our respective rooms. An hour or so later everything quited down I suppose that everyone went to bed I on the other hand kept dozing off to Dua. According to her kashan was the Mr right and they were so in love then why? I mean they had understanding and love and I don't know what else but again I really hope she says no I couldn't understand her back then when she was able to talk how will I do it now neither am I interested in her so I just hope she says no. With that I dozed off to lala land.
Dua's POV
I woke up because of the blaring of my tahajud alarm which I forgot to turn off since I didn't had to pray because of my lady issues I turned it off and tried going back to sleep but couldn't. I looked up to the almost light sky. I got up from the bed but regretted it immediately because of the cramps they hurt more than normal because my insides are really weak from all those years of abuse my cramps hurt very bad. To say I haven't healed properly in the long period of 8 years would be the understatement of the century.
Anyways with lots of struggle I got up and went to one of my windows and opened it, the atmosphere was still an evidence that indeed at this time Allah SWT is at the last heaven calling upon us to ask ask for anything we desire. I looked up at the sky and closed my eyes feeling as vulnerable as I was when I first opened my eyes 2 years ago. I know living in the past is not good but what can I do I can't help it. I raise my hands up "Ya Allah you are the most merciful and beneficent. Ya Allah grant me ease though I know this world is not a place where your true servant can find peace but Allah grant me internal peace and power to tolerate the hardships that come my way. Ya Allah I know you have never left me nor ever will but Allah make it easy for me make decisions. If you have given me a second chance make it easy for me to accept it though its going to be hard for me but please give me a sign. I don't know what to do. Yaa Rabb help your servant for I am not capable of taking good life decisions.. Ya Rabbb send me help because you are the best of helpers." By now I was shaking with every tear, every sob that escaped my lips.
After a while of pouring my heart to my lord I heard the fajr azan. I listen and answered to it and then tried going back to sleep and thankfully succeeded.
After a somewhat peaceful I woke up feeling a little relaxed. After questioning my existence and staring at the ceiling for I don't know how long I just layed there till my senses came back I got up and made my way to the bathroom, freshened up and made my way down stairs tying my waist long brown hair up in a bun.
Baba and everyone was having breakfast. I greeted them more like signed a greeting to which they replied sofly though baba seemed tensed. I helped mama setting up the table and then sat down to eat my own breakfast.
"So Dua did you sleep well?" Mama asked
"Why wouldn't she sleep well mama her kind loves to hibernate" shahzain bhai said even before I could answer.
I just rolled my eyes at him and signed I did sleep well and asked how they were. Soon we all conversed into multiple conversations though I rarely signed something or whatever. Sometimes I really want to just start talking and verbally converse with them tell them that I'm fine but then all the courage I have flies out the window and here I am again mute and silent.
"Dua" baba said gaining all of our attention.
I nodded my head for him to continue.
"Have you thought about Raza's proposal" he asked
I have thought about it but I'm still not sure.
"What is your answer?" He asked his tone and body language tells me that he has decided something already but he's waiting for my decision
"I have thought about it but I'm not still sure of what my decision will be, I really don't want to be a burden on him. I just want to live like I am living right now." Shahzain bhai read out my answer which I texted him.
Baba pinched the bridge of his nose and threw a pointed look towards ammi when she tried relaxing him.
"Nothing is to be decided I have already decided for you. Next week is you wedding and you have to say yes. I have once made the mistake of listening and favoring your decision its hard time I take matters in my own hand." Baba said. To say I was shocked would be an understatement. I looked over to Ammi who was mirroring my expression. Shahzain bhai was trying to get baba to change his mind but baba was adamant on not listening to anyone. I got up leaving my oh so delicious breakfast as it was. I ran up to my room and locked it. How can he do it. Wasn't one experience enough for me, but how can he even know I haven't even opened my mouth ever since I woke up. I cried for I don't know how long until I drifted off in deep slumber.
