Dua's POV
I felt someone shaking me. I opened my eyes to come face to face with a woman.
"Bibi jee sahab asked me to show you to your room" she said. I looked beside me and saw the car empty.
I nodded and got out of the car handing the woman the box bhai gave me. I took a hold of my lehenga and started walking. I saw that the only car there was ours that means uncle and the girls haven't arrived yet.
I made my way inside and looked at the woman to lead me.
" Sorryi forgot to tell you who I am. I am Fatima. Azan sahab's house keeper" she said. I nodded again and smiled as a greeting. I looked around the mansion. The mansion is Azan uncle's family home. I use to come here before my marriage.
"Bibi ji you're really beautiful mashallah"she said to that I smiled again. I took my phone from my clutch and typed in " please call me dua and thank you" I used the speaker option for her to hear.
"OK Dua beta" she said smilingly. I also smiled.
"Come on" she said leading the way.
She lead me to a room I know well enough. The room she used to gush over.
"You know Dua I'll decorate this room so well. I will change the whole look of it" she said while Raza rolled his eyes and I smiled at the duo.
"Domt mind but I don't really see a problem here sadaf" I said.
"Hww... Dua you sound like him. Will you not want to decorate your house according to your liking" sadaf asked referring to Kashan's house.
I blushed thinking about us living together.
"Now look who's blushing like a tomato" sadaf said pinching my cheeks
Before I knew it I was standing in his room. He sat on the bed already changed and freshened up. He was working on his laptop.
"What are you doing standing there?" He asked without looking up. When I didn't answer he looked up.
"What were you expecting? A warm welcome. An eventful night?" He said not knowing what his meaning of eventful night was doing to me. I've had quite a lot of those aren't those enough.
Eventful mute nights full of pain and suicidal thoughts. Full of tears and regret "I don't want to have any special couple moments Mr Raza. I've had some near death experiences. No thank you" I wanted to say.
"Quit acting mute when you have a tongue longer than an anaconda" he said. "Wish I did" I thought.
Ignoring his comments. I went towards the closet and opened the door. The first thing I notice is my bag practically thrown in the middle of the closet. Shaking my head I went near my suitcase and opened it. Unlike before they had put real pajamas in my bag. Last time Myra apa filled the bag with silk nightgowns etc.. You get the point.
I was about to go to the bathroom when I saw the box that shahzain bhai gave me. I sat down on the floor completely and put the box on my lap.
I opened the box to see a big book. I opened it to see it was filled with pictures our family. Me with Javeria. Myra apa. Shahzain bhai. Ammi Baba. My eyes were getting teary seeing my smiling face.
The rest of the box was full of chocolates, lipsticks and roses but one thing in particular that caught my attention was the box sitting in the middle. I picked it up but it was locked. I looked for the key but couldn't find it. Suddenly I had this urge to check the lid and there it was the key. Yeah only shahzain bhai can think of taping the key to the lid. Shaking my head at His antics. I unlocked the box that had a smaller box in it. I opened that and found the most beautiful necklace with matching pair of earrings.
