Three years later.....
Third person pov
It's been three years to their love. To their family. They lived a contented life knowing no matter how many hardships they face they will always have each other.
It was a very special day for the two. They both had to attend the people's choice awards. Dua was nominated for the beat writer of the year. Their happiness knew no bound. She had won may awards before the this one was special. This award was going to be given for her new book she wrote 'with patience comes the prize'.
The book was the top leading beat sellers globally. It showed her journey of patience and her trust in her Lord.
She was hesitant about writing it but with Raza's constant support and motivation she wrote it and it became the best selling motivational book across the globe.
"And the award for the best writer of the award goes to......" The host traced off building up the tension in the room. Dua sank in her seat but the sudden sound that resounded in the room had her eyes widening.
"Dua Agha Khan . For 'with patience comes the prize' the best seller across the globe. Ladies put you hands together for DAK writes aka Dua Agha Khan" the crowd cheered as Dua got up from her seat. Her black anarkali reached till her ankle twirling gracefully as she walked up the stage.
Her steps confident, her face lighting up by a huge smile. Camera's flashed, reaching the stage Dua shook hands with the host. The host handed her the award as the photographers saved the moment in for her.
"It's the first time we're seeing Dua personally. Honestly I've always been wanting to meet you, your books have had a great influence on me honestly and have always pushed me to do better and never give up. What would you like to say Dua" the host asked.
"I would just like to thank all the people who have supported me through this journey. But most importantly I would like to thank my Allah for giving me the opportunity to spread my word around through my writings. It means alot to win these awards and now when I've come here personally, this one will always be special." Dua said keeping her eyes on her award but then her eyes went to Raza's who sat in thr crowd with a huge smile on his face.
"Who was your main inspiration for you to write this book?" the host asked.
"I would say it was a few of my own experiences and some of my readers feedbacks that they shared with me. Knowing that either suffering or going through some sort of mishap is a part of life and everyone goes through it really helped at the time when I needed support. Reading people's emails anf their ways of dealing with sadness really opened another door for my thinking hence after compressing all those things I came up with this book" Dua told. Reading through people's emails really helped her have patience and trust in her faith and gave her the strength to hold onto hope tightly.
Getting down from the stage she hurriedly walked over to Raza who stood up at once embracing her. She showed him the award like a child but her happiness was more precious than her childishness.
"Congratulations" he said kissing her forehead making her close her eyes and savour the moment.
Walking out of the auditorium camera flashes greeted them the crowd was cheering. Getting out of the crowd was a hard job but they succeeded and went home.
