Dua's pov
It's been quite some time to that day. I believe it's been months to that day. The only good thing a out all this was that now anytime soon my baby girl would be in my arms. Life had been a pure bliss since then. Raza had been the greatest husband he could be. He fulfilled all my obnoxious demands and cravings. One time I even made him dance for me and I swear that was the funniest sight I have ever seen.
Kashan was found burned almost to death in the house backyard. Raza told me about the case he had filed against him and upon search the police found his burned self in the house. Upon investigation the police concluded that because of short circuit the house exploded and burned down. He was severely burned and was now on his death bed.
Upon going deep in his background it came forward that him and his father were wanted for human trafficking. They have been on a run for a while and now they have caught his father and Kashan, well not completely caught but they have him. One more member was on loose and they were looking for him. They had shown me the picture. The man was the same man who I had injured with the vase before running away. The man in his fifties. The court will give it's final order after he's caught. They don't exactly know his name but they know how he looks.
Today is Ammi and Baba's anniversary. Kinda funny I forgot how long it's been to their marriage but then again they've bee going strong for years Alhumdulilah. We'll be going over to their house in the evening to celebrate but right now I was just lounging around in the living room watching some random movie.
"Dua have you se-" Raza's voice filled the room but his words died down in between. I turned around to see him staring at me with wide eyes. I raised my eyebrows at him asking him what happened.
"You're not ready yet?" He asked. I looked down at my attire. I was wearing loose plazo pants and one of Raza's tshirts.
"I'll get ready in a few minutes. Besides what's the rush?" I said going back to my previous task.
"Babe it's already six thirty we need to be there at seven" he said leaning on the headrest of the couch. My eyes widened and I tried to hastily get up but he stopped me.
"Slowly" he said helping me up. He helped me to the closet. He helped me in getting ready. I wore a red kurti with golden embroidery. Pairing it with it's matching golden trouser and net dupatta that had mirror work on the ends. Accessorising it with small golden studs I was ready.

"Mashallah" Raza whispered. Holding my head in his hands he planted a chaste kiss on my forehead. I felt my cheeks warming up as I snuggled more into his chest hugging him close.
"As much as I enjoy staying like this we are already late and shahzain is continuously texting us to arrive there" he mumbled against my hair which I had pull back in a loose bun.
