Your text will be in bold cuz, well, usually the squip's dialogue is in bold. I thought this would be a neat idea, so please enjoy!

Shock

"OW! That's the third time today! Why do you keep shocking me?" Jeremy, your user, asked you.

"Because no one would want to be friends with a slouching slob like you, especially Christine. Now, if you want her to like you, sit up straight. Look confident."

Jeremy groaned but did what he was told. Play rehearsal would start in a few minutes, and you predicted Christine would come in and confide to Jeremy about a...guy she likes?

"Did it work that quick?" You mumbled to yourself.

"What worked that quick?"

You looked up to see Jeremy staring at you, his head tilted a bit. You had to admit, after changing his outfit and tweaking his appearance a bit, he actually looked cute.

Cute?

What were you thinking! You couldn't develop feelings for your user, right? It had to be a glitch. You didn't want these feelings.

Right?

"SQUIP! Seriously, are you okay?"

Your face turned a light shade of blue. He actually cared if you were okay? So sweet. "Y-yes, Jeremy, I'm fine. I was just...reviewing some data. Now, Christine is going to be in here any second to confide to you about—"

"JEREMY! I need to tell you about this guy I like! I used to not like him and, well...now he's the guy I'd kinda be into," she said quickly. She rambled on about this guy, and you saw Jeremy blushing out of the corner of your eye. He looked at her with so much love and passion. Why couldn't he look at you that way?

What am I thinking? He could never love a computer.

Just face it, y/n, your nothing compared to Christine

"I-Is she talking about me?"

You awake from your thoughts to see a star-struck Jeremy staring at you with those beautiful stormy-blue eyes of his. You felt a deep blue blush creep onto your face as you regained yourself and said, "O-Of course she is! I've been activating your thermos, keep it up!" You gave him an encouraging smile, and watched as Christine gripped his hand and gently smile at him. You could feel Jeremy's thoughts rushing through his head.

Is she gonna kiss me?

Oh my gosh, does she actually LIKE me?

SHE'S TOUCHING MY HAND AHHHHHHH!

Her smile is so precious.

Man, Squip was right, I just fix my posture a bit and now Christine likes me!

It overloaded you. You felt your mechanical heart shrivel up and die. Did you want Jeremy that bad? Are you that jealous? Wow, you can't even do what you were programmed to do. You snapped out of you thought and turned to Jeremy and Christine, who was awfully close to him, like she was going to kiss him. It made you almost red with rage.

"That guy I'd kinda be into," Christine said softly.

"That guy you'd kinda be into," Jeremy replied.

"Yeah, That guy that I'd kinda be into is..."

You braced yourself for Christine to say "you" or "Jeremy." Your quantum processor predicted there was an 80% chance of that. It was all over for you. Might as well ask Jeremy to drink some Mountain Dew Red—

"Jake."

W h a t?

You turned to a shocked Jeremy, who awkwardly excused himself. You hated to see him so distraught, but it was better than Christine asking him out.

You think your feelings are above Jeremy's goals, y/n?

Wow, you really are pathetic and helpless.

"Squip? SQUIP? Are you even listening. You've been so distant and down lately, especially when Christine is around. Are you okay?"

Crap.

"Y-yes, Jeremy, please stop worrying about me! I'm not human, so don't treat me like one. You need to upgrade if you want Christine to like you," you said quickly,

You heard a thought from Jeremy's head that made you blush bright blue.

How can I treat her like a computer if she just...feels so real to me? I can't help but worry about her.

Your face turned a deeper blue when you heard his next thought:

Heh, she's so cute when she blushes.

You regained yourself and said with a bored tone, "Now, to get Christine, you need to upgrade. Brooke is in the library, go find her and ask her out. If we get Christine jealous, then—"

"No."

"What do you just say?"

He stammered a bit, then stood up straight and said, "N-No! Not until you tell me what's wrong, y/n!"

You stood there, shocked. Jeremy never called you y/n unless he meant business...

Did he actually care about you? A computer?

"I..um..," you stammered. You sighed, knowing that Jeremy wouldn't budge until you told him the truth. "Listen, Jeremy, as a computer, I'm not supposed to have feelings. I'm supposed to help you reach your goal, and that's it. Lately, I've been experiencing this feeling called love.."

Jeremy stepped closer to you and held your glitchy hand. He stared at you with an emotion you couldn't identify. You blushed a bit, and Jeremy pushed a strand of your h/c hair behind your ear, nodding at you to continue.

"I..well..this 'love' feeling is almost taking over me, and..and...I LOVE YOU JEREMY HEERE!" you nervously cried out, burying your deep-blue face in your hands.

A minute passed.

Than two.

All of Jeremy's thoughts were compressed into static. You were about to disappear until you felt a pair of warm, skinny arms around you.

"Squip, is that why you've been acting weird lately?" he asked gently.

"Yeah—um, err...you probably want to shut me down now, don't you? I'msosorryIwassupposttoimproveyourlifeand—"

A soft pair of chapped lips gently pressed against your robotic ones. You were in shock at fist, but you gently pressed back, melting into the kiss.

After you two tore apart from each other, you softly giggled and said, "That was very unprofessional of me, Jeremy, this must be a defect. I'm sorry—"

Jeremy drew you in closer and said, "No need to be sorry, Squip, but I've changed my goals."

"What are your new goals, Jeremy?"

He put a hand under your chin and gently whispered, "You."

Sorry, that was a LOT longer than I thought it would be. I think it was a really neat concept, idk. Anyways, have a great day!
