Side note—The Squip's dialogue will be in bold. Also, sorry if you like Samsung or some other phone better. I just like iPhones better.
"Y/n, this is ridiculous! Why would you need a new phone when you've got me? My quantum processor is much superior than these little boxes of over-priced metal!"
You giggled a bit and rolled your eyes. Your Squip, Eric, could be SUCH a jealous tic-tac sometimes.
You felt a light shock. "Owwww" you groaned.
"I'm not jealous, y/n, I'm just telling you the truth. Also, I am not a tic-tac!"
"That's something a tic-tac would say!" You said dramatically.
Eric sighed and ran his fingers through his wavy, dark hair. For being a computer, he was honestly good-looking.
You looked at the unique array of similar-looking iPhones in front of you. You groaned and said, "Eric, how do I even pick one if they all are so similar!"
Eric skimmed through the phones and handed you the iPhone 11. You smiled at him and looked at the price.
"650$? I can't afford that!" you cried.
"Well, that's the newest phone they have here. I told you, y/n, that these phones are just overpriced pieces of—"
"OMGEEEE! You're getting the iPhone 11, y/n?" A girl that was popular at your high school—Brooke—yelled, interrupting Eric's rambling. You've always though Brooke was to cool for you, so you never bothered to befriend her. Now, here she was, talking to you like you two were best buds.
"Oh, um, y-yeah it, um..."
A small shock ran down your spine. "Don't stutter, it's unattractive. Say, 'Yes, it is. I'm debating on getting rose gold or white. Maybe I should get both?"
You took a shaker breath and repeated, "Yes, it is. I'm debating on getting rose gold or white. Maybe I should get both?"
Brooke's eyes opened in shock. "You can afford TWO? That's awesome. By the way, rose gold is the way to go." Brooke smiled at you and walked away from you back to her friend, who you believed was named Chloe.
"Why did you make me lie about how much money I had? What if Brooke wants to see the iPhones tomorrow? What if—"
A soothing pair of hands landed on your shoulders. "Y/n, why don't you just not buy any phone? I'll help you make up an excuse if she does ask. Besides, you can do everything you do on your phone and more with me."
You laughed as you walked out of the iPhone store. "You really ARE a jealous tic-tac," you said, kissing his cheek.
His face went a dark blue and he glitched a bit as he sputtered out, "My ultimate goal with you is to make your life overall better and more enjoyable. I've predicted that you'd be happier with me than with a useless piece of junk that you call a 'phone.' Besides, I'm not. A. Tic-tac."
You rolled your eyes and Said, "You can deny it all you want, but you ARE a jealous tic-tac.
"B-But-"
You smiled and took his hand, "But your MY jealous tic-tac."
Sorry this was probably crappy, but I'm still new and always looking for ways to improve my writing. Feel free to give me your thoughts/suggestions. Also, who should I do next? Let me know. Have a lovely day/night!
Sincerely, Me ❤️🦙❤️
