BOOM!
Thunder rumbled outside as me and my short boyfriend, Rich, were playing f/g in the living room. Usually, we would go grab donuts from the local bakery, but it was raining. No one wants to run in the rain! But I was getting hungry, so I decided to ask Rich what we should eat.
"Riiiiicccchhhhh?"
"What, babe?"
"I'm hungrrrry," I whined, giving him a pouty lip.
"Okay, then, do you want to grab donuts?" Rich asked, cleaning up f/g.
"It's raining!"
"....so?"
"It's cold, too!"
"So?"
"I don't wanna walk to the bakery!"
"We can take your car—"
"But I don't feel like driving!"
Rich stared at me, like he was figuring out what to do with me and my whiny self. After a couple of minutes, he smiled and exclaimed, "I got it! Stay here, okay?"
I smiled and said, "Okay!"
Rich darted into the kitchen and got to work. I pulled out my phone and scrolled through Instagram, wondering what Rich was making.
~Time Squip to 10 minutes later~
"GOSH DANGIT!"
I jumped at the sudden shouting coming from the kitchen. It sounded like Rich, so I decided to check on him.
"Yo, Rich, are you oka—" I stopped suddenly and stared at the sight. Rich was standing on 3 cook books that sat on top of a kitchen chair. He was jumping up and down, frustrated.
"...what are you doing?" I asked cautiously.
His frustrated glare softened when he met my concerned and questioned gaze. He sighed and said, "I was trying to make us Peanut butter and jelly, but I can't reach the dumb peanut butter," he muttered angrily.
I giggled and bit and offered my hand to help him down. "You want me to get the peanut butter for you?"
He hesitated for a second, but he took my hand and said, "Sure, tall-ass."
I giggled at the name and kissed his cheek. "Okay, shortie."
