He has brown eyes and a fair skin. He also has braces but it made him more attractive than looking like a nerd.

He's close to being perfect and your friends will always tease you that you drool whenever he appears.

You're waiting for the van to pick you up after school when Jimin texted you that their manager can't pick you up because an emergency came up.

You sighed, you're about to walk when someone tapped your shoulder.

You looked behind you as you saw Daehyun, his hair looking the same as the first period. His uniform, neat as ever.

"W-What do you need?" You asked him as you tilted your head, confused because he never ask someone to do something.

"You're going home alone?" He asked you as you nodded,

"Well, you know about the crazy beggars kidnapping kids around our age, right?" He asked you as you nodded again

"So, You're probably not here when the staffs announced it. All of us should have this 'buddy' to accompany each other, going home, or going to the school." He smiled

"Me? Why are you picking me? Why don't you choose Jungwon?" You asked, Jungwon is his bestfriend.

"Me and Jungwon go separate ways, and besides, I'm only a block away from your house." He said as you hesitated if you would agree.

"Fine, but just for today. My brothers usually picks me up, but they're busy today so you have to find another buddy tomorrow." You said as you quickly walked fanning your cheeks

"Hey! Wait for me!" He said as he catched up on your pace

The both of you walked home quietly, you wanted to ask him million questions but you don't know how to start.

"Hey, there's a new candy shop that just opened in the corner. Do you want to come?" He asked you

Your eyes shined with hearing the word 'candy'.

"Of course!" You excitedly said as you jumped a little

Daehyun laughed as he grabbed your hand gently, "Let's go, We have to cross the road to get there!"

Your cheeks turned red once again as you looked at your hands, intertwined with his.

The bell rang as the both of you left the candy store.

You looked at his candy bag and noticed that he didn't get any gummy candies.

"You don't have gummies in your bag. You didn't get some?" You asked him as you popped a gummy in your mouth

He smiled, "I have braces, so I really can't eat gummies. It'll stick in my brackets, that's what my dentist said."

The both of you continued walking home while talking and catching up to each other.
