You were like a rose, fragile and beautiful.

Ever since day one, you have always scared your parents — when a baby was born, a baby's cries were such a beautiful melody in a mother's ear but when you were born, no cries were heard and everyone panicked. Your mother nor your father didn't heard any cries, and when your mother saw you, she cried, bursted out scared and sad tears instead of happy ones.

Your body was turning blue-ish when she saw you, compressions were being done using the fingers of your doctor as she tried her best to revive you, to make sure your mother can hold you alive and well, breathing.

and after a minute that felt like eternity, your cries boomed around the birthing room — your mother was able to hold you for a minute before you were taken away by doctors who knows that you need to be under-monitoring for the next twenty-four hours to see whether there will be changes and problems after the incident that took place the second you were born.

"Where is she?" nine-year-old Jungkook asked when his parents went inside the private hospital room, his mom in a wheelchair with her eyes closed. His father ignored his question and gently lifted his wife up, placing her comfortably on the hospital bed and placed a kiss on her forehead afterwards.

"dad?" young Jungkook called out as his Bambi doe eyes gazed at his father's tired ones. His father smiled and lifted his only son up to his lap and planted a kiss on the crown of his head — Jungkook dislike kisses but this time, he let his father do it because his heart said so, he can feel the somber aura that's radiating around them and he knew better so he didn't utter a word anymore and instead, he wrapped his arms around his father's and leaned his cheek on his chest just like how he do when he was younger.

Jungkook's Bambi doe eyes sparkled and twinkled like the brightest star in the night sky — you stared back at him, eyes as Bambi as his, Jungkook felt like he's staring at his reflection because as weird as it is, you look so much like him and that made him really happy.

You are finally in his arms and Jungkook is beyond happy. After nine long months, he can finally see you up close, kiss you up close just like how he did when you were in your mom's belly, sing you songs up close just like how he did when you were in your mom's belly and tell you i love you when you were in your mom's belly.

All of a sudden, you cried.

Crystal clear tears rolled down your smooth cheeks as your eyes closed into a line. Your cries are a little faint but Jungkook panicked as he looked at his father with his big Bambi doe eyes, his heart is thumping against his chest not knowing what's wrong with you and why you cried all of a sudden — "d-dad! what's wrong? did I do something wrong?"

Jungkook's father laughed softly and shook his head, ruffling his boy's hair, "Don't worry, Jungkookie. Everything's fine, Y/N just needs her milk from mom, hm?"

and that very day was when your mom knew that something is wrong with you because as she feeds you breast milk, your tiny chest rose up and down heavily — worry flooded your mother's chest as it hasn't been a twenty-four hours since you were born yet you're already facing difficulties.

everything went smoothly but not until you turned nine months old.

Your cries bounced against the walls of the house as it woke up your sleeping parents but not young Jungkook as he slept soundly, mouth a little agape — your mother is about to stand up but your father stopped her, "I'll do it, go back to bed darling."
