You roughly rubbed your face using your palms as you tiredly sighed, you haven't had a good night sleep since last week and you're so exhausted that you just want to stay in your bed and sleep, but you know you can't do that

It's already late, but you're still in your clinic, waiting for patients that need help. You leaned on your chair as you removed your coat that you've been wearing since morning.

You sighed again as you stared at your clinic, you smiled as you finally graduated after all the struggles. You finally achieved your dream of being a doctor.

You sometimes see Jin around the hospital, you'd eat with him and spent your free time with him, just like back then.

You smiled again as you saw a family picture with the boys, it was taken after your graduation ceremony, everyone is smiling brightly, just like a happy family.

You haven't seen the others for a long time now, they're all busy with their own families, and your work kept you busy, as well.

Someone opened my door as I sent a glance at the door and saw Inju, a close friend of yours.

"Hi, Dr. Y/N." He joked as you tiredly laughed, "What do you need, Inju-ssi?" You asked as he sat down on the chair in front of your desk.

"Well, I came her to tell you that we can now finally go home. Boss told us that we're having a company dinner tomorrow." He said as he gave you a cup of coffee that you gladly took.

You took a sip before replying, "Oh, really?" You said as he nodded, "It's exciting," He said as you nodded, smiling.

"Shall we go home now?" He asked as he looked at his watch, as you also did the same. You realized that it was nearly midnight, and it's pretty late.

"Yeah, we should. I'll just tidy up my office and I'll meet you outside." You said as he nodded, leaving the room.

You cleaned your desk as you placed your things back to your bag as you grabbed your coat and hanged it onto your arms, you took your coffee and closed the lights.

"Let's go." Inju said as you nodded, as the two of you started walking towards the hospital exit. There are still doctors that are working, especially the surgeons and the nurses, so there are some dim lights that are still open.

You and Inju rode a taxi, as the two of you are just apartment neighbours, you're living with your boyfriend, Han, and Inju is living alone with his pets.

The car ride was quiet as the two of you are exhausted after the long day as doctors. You almost fell asleep but a road bump shook you awake as Inju chuckled at you.

After a few minutes, you and Inju got out of the taxi as you and him paid the taxi bill. You and Inju rode the elevator until it made a ding sound, saying that it's already your stop, the seventh floor.

"Goodnight, Inju. Sweet dreams," You said as he also did the same, you sighed as you went inside the apartment.

"Han! I'm home," You shouted as you passed out on the couch, your body screaming for a sleep. You're about to drift off to sleep when you heard Han's cold voice.

"Who's that dude that you went home with?" He coldly asked as your eyes widened, his voice giving you goosebumps and sending a shiver down your spine.

"That's Inju. My friend," You said as he squinted his eyes, "Friend? Are you sure about that, huh?" He asked as you stood up.

"Let's talk about this tomorrow, Han, I'm ti--" You're about to go to your room when he stopped you by grabbing your wrist harshly and tightly as you let out a wince.
