In the morning Kylo and Rey had woken up and immediately started to pack up everything they would need. Both of them were aprehensive to say the least. They both wanted to stay at least then they knew that they would be safe staying in Rey's fortress.
Rey was extremely anxious she had never been outside of Jakku before never to another place but she put on a brave face as they closed the door to Reys whole horrible childhood. Rey sat in the passenger seat of Kylo's car as he set up their supplies in the back seats making sure to bring all their remaining food and medical supplies.
Kylo got into the car and drove it to the gate. Rey jumped out of the car and went over to the gate and listened to see if it was safe to open before she unlocked it quickly her hands shaking. As soon as the gate was open she ran back to the car and jumped in slamming and locking her door behind her. With one look at Kylo who nodded at her reasurringly they were off. Kylo slammed his foot down on the excelorator crushing any zombies in the way as they flead Jakku.
Rey turned around and watched through the back window of the car as the only place she had known for all of her life drifted off into the distance until it became nothing but the recuring sand of the desert. Looking away Rey breathed a sigh of relief that her and Kylo had both managed to escape alive. Looking over to Kylo who was driving Rey allowed herself to smile.
