Lover in chaos Part 14

Reys blood ran cold as she felt herself being thrown backwards. She landed hard on the floor and whimpered as pain shot through her. She looked around frantically and noticed that a swarm of zombies was fast approaching and that one stood over her.

The zombie went to grab at Rey again and she quickly managed the dodge to her right out of it's way. Reys eyes blurred from moving so quickly. The zombie knocked her back down when she managed to get up.

Ben turned as soon as he heard Rey whimper and his eyes widened when he saw a zombie standing over her and several more coming. He grabbed his gun and just as he was about to shoot the zombie over Rey she managed to get a grip on her wired bat and hit it in the head.

Rey got up off the ground panting as she turned to Ben. Their eyes met and they nodded at each other. They both knew that they needed to get rid of some of the zombies heading their way otherwise it would make it hard to get away in the car.

Ben shoot down several of the zombies making it easier to escape in the car. Whilst Rey went to hit them with her bat aiming for their heads.

"Rey quick come on we can drive off now that they is a clearer path."

Ben and Rey ran back to the car. Ben jumped in the drivers seat and tried to start up the car but it wouldn't work!

They looked at each other in dread.

"We need to fix it or we wont get very far." Ben said.

"It must be one of the wires I can reconnect them I know how."

"Are you sure?"

"Yes Ben we need to do this."

Ben got out the car and made sure Rey had access to the wires. He was armed with his gun and shot any zombies that where getting close in the head.

Rey managed to get the car fixed and slammed the car hood down. Nobody had been watching the back of the car and Ben had just ran out of bullets.

Rey turned and saw 3 zombies beginning to surround her. She had left her bat in the car whilst she fixed the wiring.

Ben was facing the other way from Rey as he hit the gun like a bat at the 3 zombies on his side of the car not knowing that Rey was in trouble. Rey knew how to fight she had fought several times before but that was with humans not zombies. With the zombies you had to hit their heads.

Rey waited for the first zombie to lunge for her as she brought her leg and kicked it down. On its decent she punched it in the head.

Kylo had managed to get rid of 2 of his 3 zombies and was battling with the last one whilst Rey moved on to her second.

Rey dodged the 2nd zombie but wasnt paying attention to the 3rd and got knocked hard into the side of the car cutting her side open.

Ben heard Reys cry of pain and quickly went to help her after his last zombie had been fought off.

Reys eyes blurred from impact with the car as blood poured out of her side. She felt some more pain in her other shoulder before Ben managed to get her.

Ben hit the zombie over the head and away from Rey before helping her sit. Ben slowly lowered Rey into a sitting position in the floor and checked to make sure no zombies were around. They was none.

Rey was whimpering from the pain as she pressed her hand tightly over her wound.

"Omg Rey are you ok?"

"M-my side can y-you check it for me?"

"Yeah of course."

Ben careful lifted Reys shirt to look at the wound thankfully it wasn't too deep so she wouldn't need stitches but was still bleeding. The wound also needed to be cleaned to stop infection.
