It's been almost two hours that Iwaizumi refused to go back inside. Considering that the expensive looking car was still sat in his driveway. He kept thinking about it none stop and he couldn't help it.
'Why now? All of sudden why show up now?' He clenched his jaw gritting his teeth. 'This is stupid, I don't need him. I don't even know him!'
Everyone deserved a second chance but this was different. This wasn't just something he could easily forgive and move one from like his mother did. He wasn't even sure if this man claimed to be his father would even stick around.
Before he knew it, it was already dawn. His neighbour had left an hour earlier stating how he got bored. Most likely because Iwaizumi ignored him long enough for him to leave him alone. He wasn't complaining, the only company he wanted at the moment was Oikawa's.
Getting over his stubborn self he picked up his bag of belongings and walked to the back door. Slowly opening it to make sure no one would hear the awful worm out sound it made as he stepped inside closing it then locking it.
He sighed for what felt like the hundredth time that night and made his way to his room.
When he got there he collapsed, he was mentally and physically exhausted from everything that happened.
And then he thought, school. He had school tomorrow and he really didn't want to see that walking ball of happiness. It confused him because he really wanted his company but at the same time he didn't. He wanted nothing more than to keep his distance. The slightest hint of him accidentally showing his feelings was a no-go. At least for now.
His mind wondered off as he prepared for bed. Finally getting the sleep he so desperately needed. Although his mind drifted off to something- no someone he shouldn't be thinking about, he couldn't help but smile and feel content because of how right it actually felt.
The bright welcoming smile, the way he stood tall. His voice, the way he spoke whether it was cockily or normally. His personality was just everything. It was precious- he was precious.
One thing. One thing always seems to catch his attention the most. Though it may sound absurd, it was the only thing constantly on his mind. Maxing out everything else he thought about on a daily basis.
Tooru's eyes... those warm inviting eyes. They scared him because every time he met his gaze he couldn't help but fall in love all over again. His eyes were a hazel colour that held little glints of gold when he was extremely happy or energetic. You have to be close to see them but they're there nonetheless. They way he looked at his admirers made Iwaizumi feel a little...jealous? He wanted to be looked at like that, but only him and no one else.
He wasn't denying his feelings anymore he was just trying to find a way to hide them now. He didn't want anyone knowing, especially not Oikawa, never Oikawa.
Soon enough he fell asleep with that thought on his mind.
'Best friends. That's all we'll ever be, nothing more and nothing less.'

"Morning mum" Hajime said casually walking into the kitchen grabbing a piece of toast. Right then and there he didn't care if 'he' was around, as long as his mother was happy he was happy.
Even if he didn't like it he'd do anything for his mom. And if it meant making him feel awful and uncomfortable he'd sacrifice anything and he means anything for her.
She's done more then enough for him, more then he could ever pay her back and he knew that.
There's a limit to what he can sacrifice and that was getting involved with that stranger. He can't...he won't do it.
