*(Y/N)'s P.O.V.* (I'm so sorry that the p.o.v.s are changing this much it's even annoying me)

I looked up at the clock, seeing that it was nearing 8 at night. It's been a long day here at work I was ready to clock out and go home. From having a full house, to children creating unnecessary messes, I could feel the gray hair build on my scalp. These types of days are where I prayed that we had more staff since I was always on my hands and knees, either catering to the disrespectful guest, or my boss yelling right in my ear. I was done - I was ready for this day to end.

One thing that made it even more difficult was my hubby ignoring my calls. First, in the morning, he mentions this Sooyoung bitch who I'm assuming is his proclaimed assistant, and right after that, he says he can't talk. A few hundred calls later and he finally picks up. Not to mention by his Instagram feed, he's been spending a lot of time with this bitch. If she's just what he proclaims, why is she with him everywhere? It seems kind of excessive for an assistant, don't you think?

Maybe she's trying to take him away from me, who knows? Trying to get his attention by working closer to him? That's a possibility. But if that's true, she will disappear. I'm not afraid to get my hands dirty over some whore that doesn't know how to keep her distance. It's very simple: she touches him, she suffers the consequences. Mark is mine and mine only, and best believe I have no interest in sharing him.

Speaking of that delicious man, since the restaurant was almost empty, I decided to call him again. To my surprise, he answered.

"How come you weren't picking up any of my calls? I tried contacting you the entire day. Every single call went to voicemail? Why is that?" I said, wiping down the counter and shuffling the menu books around. I paid close attention to what he had to say, making sure he wasn't up to no tricks. It's only right to know what your hubby is up to, right?

"I was busy at a workshop. Now I'm going to get something to eat with my assistant and then we're going back to the office..." Mark paused for a short period of time, which was abnormal because of the way he was talking. Faintly in the background, a door could be heard closing, and Mark resumed his speech. "(Y/N) I don't understand why all this matters." I furrowed my eyebrows, seeing how his speech changed the instant the door closed. It made me wonder if he was dropping her off or something.

"I don't understand why you couldn't pick up any of my calls. Did you not have a lunch break? How come you couldn't return my calls then?" I spoke in a monotone voice while giving a customer their receipt. "Why does it seem like something so easy and simple is such a hard task for you?" After I spoke, I bit on my bottom lip, eager for his response. Maybe he's just stressed out again. I could go for sex right now too...

"I'm not going to return your calls at all if that's the tone you're going to keep with me." I raised my eyebrow at his response. As if I'll let you do that, sweetheart... "I told you. I was busy with work and now I'm talking to you. What more do you want?"

At that same moment, the glass door opened. As I put the customer's take out container inside a black and red plastic bag, I glanced over in that general area, seeing a tall Asian woman looking for something. Her eyes landed on the cake display right beside me, and she looked intensely. I said waved goodbye to the customer, finally taking a proper look at the woman.

As if this was a movie, I felt like I've seen this woman. With dark hair and dark eyes, the tall woman's skin glowed right in front of the display case. Just like how that assistant's skin glowed at that bar...

It was her.

It was an assistant.

The one trying to steal Mark away from me.

"I'll call you right back." I ended the call with Mark immediately after realizing my situation. I continued to eye the woman as I cleaned up any mess that remained as the last customer left through the glass door. The only people there were here now was me and her and I just couldn't help but wonder what her intentions were. Why was she here? To bother me? To fight me?

She turned to face me, stars in her eyes while she licked her lips. The woman took the piece of hair the fell in front of her face behind her ear, ready to ask me a question. I instantly put back on my persona, smiling slightly while she spoke.

"How much is that small fruit cake?" The woman spoke with a voice that people would describe as pure bliss. It was like sweet honey took the form of some girl's voice, and best believe I hated every second of it. But of course, I had to be a good employee of this establishment and treat her with the same respect I treat every other customer with.

"Ten dollars. Would you like to purchase it?" She nodded violently in the answer to my question, her brown eyes opening wide to reveal the galaxy she had in them. I carefully boxed the cake in our signature boxes, placing a small red ribbon on the top while I typed in the order into the screen.

"Woah, the packaging is so pretty." The woman gushed over the small box and I huffed, saying thank you. She handed me money, I handed her the box, and she left happily, waving bye behind her. I waved back, looking at her closely as she entered a dark car.

As soon as the car pulled out of the driveway, I ripped off my apron, power walking towards the staff room. I grabbing my belongings, yelling towards the kitchen that I was clocking out for the day. Throwing my big, black bag over my shoulder, I walked out of the restaurant aggressively with furrowed eyebrows, making my way over to Mark's office.

I was at the driveway in less than five minutes, seeing the familiar dark car parked loosely. From where I was standing, secretary Rose was still at the front desk, so I couldn't go through the front door without getting caught. Instead, I went through the back where a grey metal door read "Employee's entrance only" with a lock. The lock has been broken for a long time and I wondered when the company would fix it.

I entered the building, making my way upstairs to Mark's floor. It was a long flight, but my anger and rage suppressed the tiredness. I opened the door and sneakily walked over to his office. I hid behind a solid wall, overhearing the two's conversation. My vision was blocked by the wall, but I could see vaguely what they were doing.

"So at the workshop, I was like "Sean, you can't do that, that's illegal", and then he said "fuck you, I can do what I want" and he went ahead with it!" The pair started laughing, and I slowly got closer, trying my hardest to keep my cover. Looking over to them again, and I saw Mark feeding a spoonful of cake to the bitch sitting on the other side of the table. They chuckled again.

He fed her, so confidently, and I could only imagine what her reaction was. Because I was looking so intensely, I forgot where I was leaning and fell loudly on the floor. Their heads snapped towards my direction, but the time they looked, I was inside the open office room directly across from Mark's, where one person stayed. I quickly pulled out my switchblade from my pants, holding the man in a headlock, with the blade pointed to his neck. He was just about to scream, but I silenced him by placing my hand over his mouth.

"Say a fucking word and you're dead," I spoke almost demonically with sunken eyes staring straight into his soul and Ken whimpered, scared out of his mind to do anything else. He dropped the papers that were in his hands and held them up, shaking violently. At the same time, my ice-cold glare was fixed on the two, who simply got back to what they were doing. I dragged Ken to the back of his office, throwing him onto the ground and pointing the knife at his chest, telling him to shush as Sooyoung suddenly moved from her seat.

"Now that I've thought about it, I'll just do the work tomorrow." She spoke, reaching for her jacket that hanged at the door of Mark's office. "It's getting late and I really want to sleep. So I guess I'll be heading home now." I smirked.

"You sure? I can drop you off." Mark offered, and I silently huffed, brushing my (H/C) hair out of my face.

"You've already done so much for me, Mark. I haven't even thanked you for it. I'll just walk it from here." Mark got out of his seat, going up towards her to assist her out of the office. They hugged, and she left, waiting for the elevator.

Wrong move, darling.
