"For an Angel"
By Author Maravilla

Angels are heaven's gift
To a world that loses adrift.

A world where time gets old
Where stories soon or never will be told.

Bringing light, angels come alive
Yet as darkness comes, they never sleep 'til five.

'Cause angels are heaven's gift
They never wink to help you lift.

Angels put smiles on human faces
Maybe on animals too, and somehow lost graces.

But many knew heaven was at haste
And somehow the gift was only a solemnly taste.

'Cause angels are precious gifts
Unlike the stars; heaven and earth in time, rifts.

The loneliness of a gift's departure
Is felt by mortals who wish to extend nurture.

'Cause this lovely, precious gift foretold
Was never met by some who are special to hold.

Divided by distance, vision, and sense
Earth lost hope without any suspense.

Yet heaven found around a way
For both realms to share a gift to not astray.

'Cause angels are gifts to give
And not just taken by one to happily live.

Angels are made in and for Heaven
Loved and treasured by Earth when given.

They should not be wasted by any man
Nor neglected by those who have ran.

'Cause angels are indeed extravagant gifts
From the heavens, with the earth; and fixes rifts.
