"Maybe"
By Author Maravilla

In all honesty, I'm not that pretty
I don't have impact like a comet does
I don't even make anyone stare, really
Because that's just how everything was...

Come one, come all
Who would be amazed of a confidence so small
Probably everyone would come clean
And will just turn out very mean...

Just so you know, I'm nothing without my wit
Who would make friends with a someone
Who isn't as intellectually lit
So yeah, everyone can feel free to go on...

Hear ye, hear ye
As a leader, I feel the tremble of my knee
Of course because I was only born to serve
Because leading was never in my nerve...

Aye, get out of my way!
I hate getting mad today!
I hate being mean and rude
But it is really a part of me that is nude...

Alas! This is your captain speaking
Of an announcement that is so heartbreaking
Now, let's go on and turn the tide
By flipping the coin to its other side...

On the contrary, maybe I am pretty
I might not have the best built
But it's still better because I'm healthy
And much more, with a heart free of filth...

Come one, come all
I may have a confidence so small
But maybe I also have what we call 'endurance'
Because what fear instills is killed by His plans...

Just so you know, maybe wit is never a basis
If I can be kind and generous
And also honest and hilarious
I will know what true friendship is...

Hear ye, hear ye
Not the best leader, but was best to serve, maybe
Maybe I should serve while leading
Or maybe lead while also serving...

Aye! Being mad may drive others away
But maybe it's alright if it stays that way
Frustration is a part of emotion
Venting it out could lessen combustion...

Alas! The coins are flipped
Just to lessen the grip of insecurities
Remember, 'not(s)', makes us ripped
But, 'maybe(s)', help us explore our novelties...
