Chapter 5 - Forever

Nathan and Evie had been out for a long time. I tried calling him, but her never answered my phone calls. Guess he was too busy in what he was doing out.

After a bit more than an hour, I was startled by my phone ringing. I looked at to notice Nathan's caller ID. I picked it up,

"Hello?"

"Hey babe!" He says

"Oh so you finally decide to call me back?"

"Haha babe! I was trying to surprise you!" He chuckled.

"Alright! What is it?" I asked.

"Uhm, meet me in front of your old apartment in 30 minutes. Thats where Evie and I are at the moment."

"Why my old apartment? Isn't it a mess? And it must be really dusty for Evie. Omg Nathan, is she getting sick?" I started freaking out.

"Calm down!" He giggled. "The apartment is perfectly fine babe! Just come here quick! Ok bye sweetie! I love you" He said as he quickly hung up. He didn't even let me speak. I was a bit confused about what was going through his mind.

I got some clothes out of my wardrobe and quickly changed into them. I then grabbed my coat and car keys and headed out to my apartment. Why was Nathan there anyway?

The streets of London are always filled with cars coming from every direction. Traffic was something the human life had to expect here. Although, I was a bit worried that I would reach there in 30 minutes as Nathan said. My apartment wasn't that close to where we lived to be honest. Although I tried to speed on the streets!

After 45 minutes, I reached the apartment to see a grumpy Nathan and Evie sitting at the stairs.

"You're late!" He said

"I'm sorry, I cannot make my car fly over other vehicles! Please forgive me?" I said, whilst making a sad face.

That left him in a fit of laughter. I laughed a little with him too. Soon he was hugging and kissing me.

"I missed you in the morning!" I sighed.

"Same!" He kissed my cheek.

Then I picked up Evie and looked into her beautiful green eyes. She had the same eyes as Nath. They were gorgeous.

"How's my little girl?" I kissed her cheek.

"Oki babe! Let's go!" Nathan said from behind

"Let's go where?" I asked, confused.

"For your surprise! Let's go!" He clapped his hands like a teenage girl.

"Ok Nath!" I gave him a weird look. " You want to me drive?" I asked.

"Nah. It's ok! I'll drive!" He spoke.

"ok" I replied.

He was soon in the driver's seat and I was in the passenger's seat with Evie.

"Has Evie seen the surprise yet?" I asked, as Nathan turned on the car.

"Oh Yeah!" He smirked.

"Oh you lucky girl!" I playfully shook her. Nathan just chuckled and pulled away from the drive way.

We were driving for about an hour and a half.

"This is a long ride Nath! When are we going to reach?" I whined like a child, getting bored from our ride. Evie had already fallen asleep.

"Patience Love! We're almost there!" He said. I just smiled at him in return.

In 5 minutes, we pulled over in front of this huge, beautiful house. The street was also filled with such houses.

Nathan got out of the car without saying a word, and I was extremely confused. He soon opened my door and took my hand in his.

"Come on babe!" He smiled.

"Nathan.. I'm confused!" I said, placing Evie over my shoulder. She was sound asleep.

"Let's go inside." He suggested nicely.

The inside of the house was perfect! It was huge and soo beautiful. At the back, you had a lovely pool. And the house also had a massive garden.

"So, El! You like it?"

"It's amazing Nath! Whose house is it?" I asked.

"It's our house!!" He squeeled in excitement.

"Omg Nathan..."

"Yes baby! Surpriseeeee!" He shouted as he hugged me.

"Nath.. you didn't have to! I bet it cost you like an arm and a leg."

"No! It was quite ok! Besides, I could do anything for you!" He softly kissed me.

"Thank you!" I whispered against his lips.

"It's alright babe. Let's go see the rooms!" He said excitedly.

The first room he showed me was the guest room. It has a double bed and the design was minimalist. The second room, was the baby room. It was painted in pink and had butterflies on the wall. It was such a cute room.

"Little Evie will be thrilled to live here!" I smiled.

The next room was our bedroom. As soon as I entered it, I was astonished. It had pictures of me and Nathan on the wall. Pictures from when we first met and pictures when we got together. In the center there was a picture that was captioned, 'Elli and Nath forever'. And below that, there was a picture of Nathan and I with baby Evie. I just stared at the room with my mouth open, and tears about flow out of my eyes.

"Aww Nath.." I whispered, loud enough for him to hear.

He just came closer and planted a soft kiss on my lips.

"How long did this take you?" I asked looking into his eyes.

"A couple of weeks!" He said.

"I love you Nathan!" I said kissing him again as a tear rolled down my cheek. He quickly wiped it away and said, "I love you too Elyssa!"
