Nathan and I were busy locking every place in the house. We were completely aware that we both were not safe at any time here. I was scared for the first time in my life. It was probably because, I'm a mother now. Things change when you become a mother. Evie was picked up by Nath's mum a few hours ago. She was so sweet and ready to help. She asked us to go along with her, but I am not allowed to leave the city as people thing I committed a murder. So the Police Department need me in case they wanted to interrogate me. I was quite genuinely pissed off.
"You checked everything?" I asked Nathan.
"Yeah. We are good for tonight!" He nodded his head.
"Ok." I mumbled.
But then all of a sudden there was a sound of a window cracking open. It was like a huge stone was thrown to it. Both Nathan and I stared at each other with wide eyes. We weren't expecting that. We could hear a lot of people inside the house by now. I was freaking out a little inside.
"Shit! Elyssa hide!" He shouted pushing me into one of the rooms.
"Nathan, I'm not going anywhere without you!" I screamed back, pulling his arm with me.
"You're the one that's unsafe!" He said. I started crying by now.
"Please Nathan!" I begged crying my eyes out.
"Elyssa." He said grabbing my face with his hands. "I'll be alright. But I have to make sure you will be alright first. Just stay here ok? Don't get out!" He said kissing my lips multiple times. In no time he pulled himself out my grip and closed the door behind him. And then I couldn't decide what was happening outside.
I heard a lot of footsteps and screaming. I hid myself in one our closets on the top. Where they will possibly not be able to find me. Suddenly there were some screams of pain coming from the ground floor. I knew they were from Nathan. I quickly jumped out of the closet and ran out of the door into the living room. Half way down the stairs I froze. Nathan was covered in blood and was beaten up so badly. I ran the other half of the stairs and tried to protect him.
"Nathan!" I ran to him and helped him up. There stood Emily, next to us, laughing. I looked at her and she smirked at me evilly.
"What did Nathan do to you?" I gritted my teeth at her.
"He gave you happiness! Yeah.. That's what he did" She snarled evilly at me.
"What do you want from me? And why do you hate me so much??? I never did anything wrong to you Emily! What the fuck is your problem?" I asked her.
"Don't ask me questions you whore! You don't have to know shit! ok?" She said pulling me by my hair and pushing me into the ground.
"Don't touch her Emily! Please!" Nathan begged. He could hardly speak, he was so hurt. I could barely see him like this.
"Don't tell me what to do!" She spat at him.
"Please Emily! I'll do anything for you." He spoke as his tone kept going lower and lower. He was barely standing.
"Really?" She smirked. She walked over towards him and tugged on his collar. She then moved her face closer to his and their lips were almost touching. Nathan turned his face to the other side and pushed her off slowly.
"Emily!" He uttered.
I watched her in disgust.
She gave him a few evil glares and then asked her 'friends' to beat me up. They pushed me to the ground and were kicking and pounding me with thrashes. There was nothing much I could do.
"No! Emily! Alright I'll do what you want." He shouted and they all stopped.
"Nathan you don't have to" I mumbled in pain.
