"Have we figured out what Loki wants yet?" I ask. A sigh from Bruce tells me no.
"Not yet, (l/n)" Stark groans.
"I'm gonna go try and get some rest, let me know if anything comes up." I say, Bruce nods and Tony salutes as he goes back to whatever he was working on.
I head to my room for the night not hungry enough to eat. Well in truth I felt like I lost my stomach, thoughts tumbled through my mind at impressive speeds. I can barely hold onto one for more than a few seconds, I need answers. I get up and go back to the lab, I see Thor he looks away. He won't tell me anything, hell he might not even know anything he seems so confused. So I go to the only other person on this ship Who might know something. I walked to Loki's cell room, only to find Nick standing by the door.
"Director, may I speak with the prisoner?" I ask standing professionally with my arms behind my back.
"No (l/n) you may not. He's been asking for you all day, we can't give him what he wants. Sorry Agent, I can deliver a message if you would like?"
"it isn't urgent. Thank you Director." Damn, i'll just try again tomorrow, because I can't just disobey direct orders, my brother would kill me.
----Time skip----
What is with people standing in doorways!
"Hey Steve." I say as I walked by and open my door,
"Hi (y/n). how are you holding up?" He asks.
"Eh, Good I guess, I can mostly control it, but I think Loki May have some answers for me, but Director Fury won't allow me to talk to him on account that he has been asking for me all day. so complicated I guess is a better word?" I sigh flopping onto my bed,
"I can talk to Loki if it would help?" Steve offers, trying to help as always.
"Thanks, but this one I need to do myself."
"All right. Just let us know if there's anything we can do to help, good night (y/n)." Steve says.
"Thank you. Good night Steve." with that he leaves, I wish Clint was back I could use a good laugh right now. Speak of the devil!
