NATHAN threw his backpack over his shoulder as he stopped beside Peter who looked over to him before returning to look at the cabin. "If I know one thing-it's that Tony will always make sure everyone is safe. He did it with me when I was your age and now he's doing it for my kids."

No one had said a word on the car ride to Tony's secret spot while Nathan had noticed that Peter was fidgeting with his fingers. "Don't try to be strong for me, Dad. Please. I could see how much you're shaking from how nervous you are for me. Let it all out, please."

"I just," Peter turned away as he rubbed his eyes. "I didn't want this to happen to you. You don't deserve any of this. As a father, I'm supposed to protect you-"

"You've protected me ever since I was born and you're still protecting me now." Nathan nodded. "I really do deserve all this. I should've listened to you and Rosemary and everyone else who told me how bad a person Francesca was. I'm sorry. Now I'm just trying to protect you and Mom and the girls by hiding away here."

They both watched as Michelle came back with Megan holding her hand as Rosemary and Sienna followed behind. "There's enough food and drinks to last you for as long as you need. There's a landline, there's TV and I got some books for you to read incase you get bored. Do you think that's all you need?"

Nathan shrugged weakly. "I guess. I don't know what I'm going to do. Probably drive myself insane. I don't want to be found and I know I can trust you guys to not reveal where I am. I can't have any communication with any of you-I can't take the risk and have something happen to any of you for trying to. Let's just say that this is the last time you're going to see me for awhile."

They stood there in a huddle, shocked by Nathan's words before Rosemary nodded. "As sad as it is, he's right. The least we know of Nathan and likewise, this will die down if we just try to convince the people how great of a superhero Nathan was...or stop completely until everyone stops talking about it and they stop have everyone circulating New York trying to find him. As soon as they find out that he's off the map, all of this will stop."

"I know Francesca," Nathan shook his head. "I know she will not stop until she sees me behind bars. She won't stop until everyone calls me the bad guy and her the good guy. This was her plan all along. She'll keep manipulating everyone and anyone."

"She wants to fight, we'll keep fighting back." Sienna crossed her arms. "Don't worry, Nate, the people will be back in our side in no time."

Nathan sighed as he looked around, knowing that it was finally time to say his goodbyes and hide away. "I love you guys so much and I'm sorry. I'm sorry I acted like an a-hole and acted differently. I'm sorry it came to this."

Michelle quickly brushed away her tears as she smiled. "You don't have to keep apologizing, you've already been forgiven. When it's time for you to finally come home, we'll receive you with open arms. I love you."

They hugged as Nathan buried his face in her neck as held her tight. "I love you, Mom."

He tickled Megan who was in her arms as she squirmed before smiling up at him. "Bubba, I'm staying with you."

"No, MJ, you have to stay at home with Mama and everyone else."

Megan furrowed her eyebrows. "But I want to stay with you!"

Nathan gently smiled as he moved the her hair away from her face. He kissed her cheek before pressing their foreheads together. "Listen to me, MJ, okay? I'm sorry but you can't stay with me as much as I want you too. You'll be safe with Mama, Daddy, Rose, and Sienna, okay? I'll be fine by myself, I promise. I love you. Don't ever forget that."

She pouted before throwing her arms around him. "I love you."

They all said their goodbyes before Peter pulled away. "We'll get you out of this, son. I promise. All of this will pass by in a snap."

Nathan tried to contain his tears as he watched them walk back to the car as they all stopped in front to turn around to finally wave goodbye for the last time.

Peter took the longest to get in the car as he finally waved goodbye to him before getting into the driver's side. Nathan waited until they drove away before slowly walking up the steps to the door.

He suddenly heard a car honk, believing it was Peter who decided to use it before turning around to see that it was a different vehicle. He quickly gripped the handle before seeing Cindy step out of the car. "Nathan!"

He frowned, walking towards the stairs before leaning on the post as he watched her run towards him. "Cindy, what are you doing here?"

"I am going to stay with you."
