🕷

LORENZO stopped from running as a breathless Megan looked up at him in wonder. She tugged on his fingers before seeing what he was staring at. "Nathan!" She gasped, running towards him.

Nathan let out a big 'oof' as she crashed into his arms, her small arms wrapping around his neck. "I missed you too, squirt. So much." He pulled away to look at her again. "What have you been up to, hm?"

"This is my friend, Lorenzo!" She twisted around to point at Lorenzo who leaned against the wall as he gave a small wave to Megan. "He has tattoos but he's really nice."

Nathan frowned at her. "You think everyone is nice. The last time I saw him...he wasn't exactly nice."

Sienna came in between them, smiling at Peter and Michelle. "I know he was a jerk-"

"I can think of a million things worse." Rosemary spoke up, glaring at him. She stood beside Nathan. "Weren't you supposed to be dead?"

"I know it's a surprise to see him but he's actually the one that helped me get Nathan out. He got me the original footage! That's it. I'm supposed to take him back I'll take him back right now, okay?"

Nathan sighed, putting Megan down as she ran over to Peter. "Well, thank you. But don't think I've forgotten what you did to me when were on vacation-I'm never going to forgive you for that."

"Neither will we." Peter clenched his jaw as he wrapped his free arm around Nathan's shoulders. "I think it's time for you to go back to where you came out of."

Lorenzo leaned forward, letting out a deep breath as he looked at Sienna. "Let's go, Sienna. It was great to feel free again but I never thought I would miss my cell." He looked over to Nathan. "I'm sorry for what I did. Hopefully one day you can all forgive me."

Rosemary scrunched up her face in disgust as Sienna took him away. "That was awkward. I never thought I'd have to see him again." She chuckled, turning back to look at Nathan. "You, little brother, are now a free man! What do you want to do first? You definitely need a shower a-s-a-p, maybe after that we can all go to dinner, watch a movie-"

"Cindy," Nathan interrupted her. "Before I do anything else, I need to see her."

。・゚゚・ ・゚゚・。

Cindy flipped through the channels as someone entered her hospital room holding a whole bouqet of flowers that covered his whole face. "Azari, I told you to stop bringing me flowers, I really don't need anymore-"

"Not even my flowers?" Nathan popped his head up, raising an eyebrow. He quickly placed the bouquet down and sat down beside her. "Hey, hey, don't try to get up. How are you feeling?"

Cindy wrapped her arms around him, pulling him closer. "Better, now that you're here. I saw everything on the news. I'm so happy that Sienna was able to prove to everyone how wrong Francesca was."

"Yeah," Nathan smiled. "I don't know how I'm ever going to repay everything that she's done for me...I really don't. But, how are you? How do you feel?"

She sat back, sighing. "I'm fine, really. I felt a bit dizzy after surgery but luckily I'm alive. She didn't hit any important organs."

He laughed. "That's great. I was a...fucking wreck not knowing how you were, if you were alive or not. I don't know what I would've done if something worse happened to you."

"What do you mean?" Cindy frowned. "You'd live your life like you used to before I got in it."

"Not really." Nathan shook his head as she reached for her hand. "Cindy,
I wouldn't have wanted to be stuck in that cabin with anyone else. You're the one who helped me with my panic attacks, you were there for me and you never left my side. My life is way better with you in it."

Cindy smiled. She played with his fingers as she took a deep breath. "You mean that?"

Nathan suddenly intertlocked their hands together, looking up at her as he kissed her hand. "Of course I mean it...I really like you."

"I really like you too." She whispered as she squeezed his hand. Nathan smiled as he leaned down to kiss her forehead. "Thank you for the flowers by the way, they're beautiful."

"Are they better than Azari's?" He raised an eyebrow at her, waiting for her response.

Cindy laughed. "Is someone getting jealous already? You know they're not all from Azari-some are from Rosemary, Sienna, your parents, Bruce...mostly all our friends except for Morgan. Pepper came to tell me that she's blaming us for Tony's death. She wants nothing to do with us anymore."

Nathan frowned. "She said that?"

"It's only Morgan. Pepper is still hoping we'd come back to see her after I'm allowed to go back home." She nodded.

"I'm happy that Pepper doesn't have any bad blood between us but I never would've thought that Morgan wouldn't want nothing to do with us anymore. We all kind of grew up together and to have her just do this..."

Cindy shrugged. "That's just how life works. I know how many amazing memories you must've spent with her, I'm sorry."

Nathan had managed to make some room for himself beside her on the bed as he wrapped his arm around her shoulder. "I don't want to worry about it. At least I still have you, right?"

Cindy closed her eyes as snuggled closer to him. "At least you still have me."
