Chapter 14

Jungkook P.O.V.

When I got captured I didn't panic, I knew that by going out I was risking my safety. I probably surprised the members of NCT by getting into the car calmly

Taehyung and the others will come get me, of that I'm confident

Here I am, tied up to a chair in the middle of the room... how typical

"I've heard many things about you Jungkook.... I've also heard of your relationship with Taehyung" The apparent leader of the group says

I just look at him, raising an eyebrow

"Given your recent status change in life, I think you may be of use to us" He says smirking

Still not answering, I can tell he is getting frustrated. Good, hopefully he'll get frustrated and slip up

He sighs angrily "Since you don't seem to want to talk, I'll cut to the chase. Tell me what you know of Taehyung's activities and I might let you live"

I smile slightly, "I'm afraid you'll be going empty handed, because I know nothing"

"You're his boyfriend yes? Of course he would tell you information, vital information we need to take him down" He says running his hand along my neck

"Just because I'm his boyfriend, doesn't mean he'll tell me shit" I spit out

I feel a sting on my cheek, and I realize he slapped me

"Bring in the device" He says to another man beside him

The man nods and leaves the room

"You're going to tell me the information I want, or you will be severely punished" he says, pulling my head back

Soon enough the other man is coming back in with what looks like a metal collar

What the fuck is that?

I just sit quietly as he fastens it around my neck

"Now, when is the next drug shipment going out?" He asks

"I don't know" I reply honestly

The feeling of electricity coursing through your body is an unexplainable feeling

I scream out in pain, but the man just smiles

"Where does he store his weapons, outside of his base" He asks

"I don't know" I say, panting

The shocks come again, causing me to scream out

"Where is his base?" The man asks

"I don't know, I don't know the location. I don't pay attention when we come and go" I say, tears streaming down my face

The intensity of the shocks increase

"I DON'T KNOW ANYTHING" I yell when the shocks go down

I don't know how much time passes like this, him asking me questions that I don't know the answers to, receiving shocks in response. At some point I swear he just shocks me without even asking a question

"Does he know about your relationship with Daesung?" He asks sneering

I freeze, I never told anyone about Daesung. I honestly forgot about him, my family hasn't talked to him in years.

"N-No, Tae doesn't know about him" I whisper

My answer results in a disgusting smile to form on his face

"Well, I'll be sure to let him know after I kill you. You are no longer any use to me, you really don't know anything" He says pulling out a knife

He holds the knife to my throat and I close my eyes, preparing myself for what's going to happen, wishing that I could've said goodbye to my parents first

Suddenly I hear gunshots and shouting in the hallway, I know Taehyung is here

"Ah, seems like your friends have figured out where you are" He says, laughing

The door slams open and there in all of his dark glory is Taehyung, blood spattering his clothes and face, looking like a god of death. He seems to say something, but it's too quiet for me to here

I smile at the fact that he's here to help me, but it doesn't last long as I feel the blade of the knife press closer into my neck. Tae's eyes shift down to the collar and knife

"Let him go, it's me you want, right Johnny?" Tae says, looking at the man behind me

"He is no use to you anymore, especially after what he told me" Johnny sneers

Tears form in my eyes, knowing what Johnny is about to tell him

"Did you know that Daesung and Jungkook knew each other? In fact, they were related" Johnny says laughing

I will never forget the look of betrayal on Taehyung's face as he looks at me. I would kill to never have to see that look on his face again, the pain and hurt on his face was enough to break my heart

Quickly he pulls out his gun, shooting one man at a time. Each falling to the ground, dead

Lastly he points the gun at Johnny

"You're a very good shot Taehyung. But if you shoot me, my knife could easily slip and cut his throat" Johnny says

I see the look of conflict on Tae's face as he tries to figure out what to do

Deciding for him, I headbutt Johnny's chest, getting him to step back, dropping the knife in the process. I lunge to the side as best as I can, tipping the chair to the floor, and a gunshot rings out

Looking over, Johnny is on the floor with a bullet in his chest

Taehyung comes over to me quickly, unfastening the shock collar, revealing the pink burn marks from the electricity. He gets a look of sadness in his eyes, before it disappears when looking at me. He cuts the ties, keeping me to the chair and helps me get up

"Tae, please let me explain" I beg, grabbing his arm

He pulls away and looks at me "You need to get out of here Jungkook. Wonwoo and Hoshi are waiting in a car to get you to safety. The others are covering the exits so you can get out" He says quickly

The gunshots from outside the room echo throughout the building, making me wince

"You need to get out too, they want both of us gone. But now that Johnny is dead they can't do anything. Their leader is dead" I say begging

He seems to listen to something for a minute before replying

"I know what I said, I changed my mind"

I frown, not understanding who he's talking to

"Go Jungkook, now" he commands

As I'm about to answer, my eyes flicker to the doorway seeing movement, and I yell

"Taehyung look out!"
