"Uy you look dashing, Captain Ravena" bati ni Beatriz when he entered the car. Kahit siya hindi inexpect na sasabihin niya yon.
"Told you, Ms. De leon, Thirdy nalang" he smiled shyly.
"Oh sorry sorry. We'll call mom lang saglit kasi alam ko she'll meet us in the resto." She said still surprise by the sudden change of mood. Para siyang nagibang tao.
"Oh okay" his mood changes. "akala ko naman tayo lang" he whispers.
"Huh? did you say something?" Bea asked since she kinda heard something.
"Uy wala ah" Thirdy answered and smirked. Beatriz called Det but her mom won't answer.
"She won't answer baka she's driving na. Lets go? Put your seatbelt on" Bea demanded.
He obeyed.
The trip is just really short since Gail booked a resto in Taguig. Before going out of the car, Det messaged her daughter.
Oops! Ang larawang ito ay hindi sumusunod sa aming mga alituntunin sa nilalaman. Upang magpatuloy sa pag-publish, subukan itong alisin o mag-upload ng bago.
"Ms. De Leon, you okay? bakit ka nakabusangot?" Thirdy asked when he noticed that Bea froze after closing the door of her car.
"No Mom can't come." He smiled hearing it.
"Its okay. I won't bite, I promise"
"I am not sure" Bea jokes. She really is different around him.
"You do joke pala no?" Thirdy teases.
"Huy! I do naman grabe"
"When I met you you only have two reaction eh sad and so frustrated" He reminisce that night.
he's right and she's shock also. What she's acting right now is really far to what she used to react for the past months.
"what's with the sudden change, Beatriz" she thought
"Eh my house is burning eh" she finally answered.

She chuckles hearing the uncertainty in his voice. She do not know why but why does his company feels so light. feels so calm.
"Tara na nga" yaya ni Bei and Thirdy followed lang.
The receptionist guide them to their table.
"Napaka sosyal naman nito. pwede naman mag thank you dinner sa ibang place" Thirdy whispered pag alis noong staff.
"I didn't plan this." She chuckled and whispered back.
"Huh eh sino?"
"My secretary and maybe mom made suggestions. This is her favorite place eh" she said while checking what's new sa place.
While waiting for their food Thirdy broke the awkward silence.
"Actually I was expecting na di tayo ganon maguusap. I'm surprised na you can talk pala"
She laughed
"Sira. I do talk naman talaga"
He smiled. He likes it, seeing this smile. deep down he knows that this can be the first and last time to see it.
The servers delivered their food and they said their thanks.
"I'm curious. You own the house tapos ikaw lang laman non" Thirdy opened up.
"No. I have Ate Leona and Pepper" she's torn if she needs to say that her husband used to be there too.
"Ay oo pero kahit na sobrang laki ng bahay nagkikita pa ba kayo don" Thirdy wonders.
"I don't usually come home, so bali si Ate Leona and Pepper lang"
"The house is too big talaga"
She remembered why " yeah" she almost whisper and showed a fake smile.

"Hun, it's beautiful pero this is too big for us" Bea said while looking at the eyes of her husband who is really enchanted with the house's beauty.
"Hun!" she called again
"Ay sorry hun. I just can imagine you running with our kids" he chuckled
"Ay nako. Although sobrang ganda feel ko this is too big"
"Hun, we have big families, for family gatherings as well atyaka excuse me gagawa din tayo ng basketball team eh so okay lang to. We'll fill this house with lots of kids"

"Kasya pa ba budget? our wedding was so expensive"

They were enjoying their dinner when a phone rang.
"Sayo yon?" Thirdy asked pointing to Bea's phone.
Bea checked but hers is not ringing
"Oh shoot" Thirdy cursed when he realized its a ring for emergency operations.
he answered
"Where are you guys?"
"Okay I'll run fast. I'll be there" when he hang up he looks at her she's worried and confused.
"I'm sorry. there's a fire. I'm really sorry" Thirdy is in panic he didn't know what to do.
"Yeah okay you can go malapit lang ba?" She asked.
"I don't know yet but I'll figure it out. I'm sorry" he stood up still torn if iiwan niya si Bea magisa.
"No no it's okay. Uhm you know I can drive you?" Bea suggested at tumayo na din.
"Actually, I badly need it. " Thirdy admitted.
"Yes Let's go."
Bea left her card to the server and told him she'll be back tomorrow to get it. The server just nodded since Det is a regular in the resto causing everyone to be familiar to Beatriz. The owner of the place is really close to the family.
Both of them ran to the parking lot and drive away.
"I'm sorry you have to run on heels"
"No its okay." Bea assures him.
"Bawi ako promise."
"Uhm pwede ba yung bawi mo accept the watch nalang"
"Pero Ms De Leon.."
"Bea" she cutted him
"Bea, sobrang expensive non"
"Akala ko babawi ka"
He sighs "fine"
She smiled like she won.
after a few minutes, the two arrived at the burning place. And Thirdy didn't have the chance to say good bye and thank you since he saw his colleagues having a hard time.
