This is the first time, Jamie went to the cemetery to visit her brother
"Yes nga" Beatriz confirmed

"Pero Beatriz, you have to move forward. Kahit once a week pwede. Everyday is too much. I now get it why you told me you feel like he really wanted to burn the house"
"Hindi lang naman basta mahal sa buhay yung nawala sakin. Nawalan ako ng asawa, nawalan ako ng magiging tatay ng mga anak ko, I lost my soul, J"

even though they had an argument they know that both of them had a point.
It was surprisingly a fast drive pauwi since it is a weekday and its morning.
Beatriz parked her car and saw that a lot of maids and drivers are staring at the tree
"What's with that tree?" Jamie asked
when the bark was heard thats when she realized, it was Pepper who is stuck on the top of tree.
she ran towards the maids and asked them
"Ano pong nangyari, bakit siya nakaakyat?"
the maids are all clueless "Hindi po namin alam kanina po naglalakad lang siya sa may pool, hindi naman po talaga naakyat si Pepper."
"Uhm Kuyas di po ba pwede akyatin nalang?" she asked
"Mam kasi mo mahuna po yung puno, sabi po nung gardener baka daw po malaglag kami parehas pag inakyat ko eh medyo mataas po kasi kanina pa po namin niyaya bumaba para saluhin nalang eh. kaso mukhang komportable po si Pepper dun"
she sighed, she thinks again
"In Hawaii we call for fireman and they use their stairs to get dogs" Jaime said
"Are they allowed to do that?" she looks at her

"For Pepper" she whispered to herself
she dialed his number and after a few rings, the Captain answered
"Hi" he greeted
"Uhm I'm so sorry for ignoring you but I need help"
"Okay tell me nasan ka, i'm on my way"
Bea just said nasa bahay siya and Thirdy uses the pole and saw the new trainee inside the truck
"drive for me emergency"
the trainee just nodded and asked the address
because it is a fire truck, Thirdy just took 20 mins to get to the De Leon's
he ran inside the opened gate and saw Bea looking at the top of tree hopelessly
"hey" he looks at her confusingly
"tagal mo, almost an hour na siya diyan" and she pointed at her pasaway na alaga
Thirdy chuckled and called the trainee
"Brix, right?" he asked
the new trainee just nodded

and just like what Jamie said, firemen really help out dogs
Jamie was watching the whole scene. Bea being so fragile, Thirdy trying to impress her, and Brix na parang hindi alam what he's doing
when Pepper was given back to Bea, she hugged him tight "Don't climb up like that" she said
"I'm sorry naabala ka pa" Bea told him
"Alam mo naman na I'm one call away"
"Sorry for ignoring you."
"Uhm actually how about lunch on Friday as a thank you treat for saving Pepper's life again" he pleaded

Thirdy smiled and shouted yes
"sorry nadala lang" he said
"Ehem" Jamie got their attention
"Ay Thirds. This is Jamie my bestfriend, J, this is Captain Ravena " Bea introduced

"Nice to meet you too, Captain" she stares at the two of them with a smirk on her face, she got Pepper on Bea's arm and said "kunin ko na yung bata, nakakasagabal" and she went inside the house
"Sorry about Jamie, she's like mom, always trying to ship me to everyone" she explained
"Its okay, Bea. Sige na una na kami. Brix, our new trainee right there has a lot of things to do pa. see you on Friday"
"See you, Capt! Thank you again" after niya ihatid si Thirdy she went inside the house with a smile in her face
"Now, you have to tell me the story" Jamie said in a teasing voice

"Hmmmmm. Okay. I won't push it. Let's go, Pep! Let your momma daydream about that handsome fireman" and Jamie got Pepper to play with her
