"I don't understand, Hun! How come hindi mo to sinabi sakin. We are married, Torralba for pete's sake" galit na galit na sabi ni Bea sa natatawa niyang asawa na nakahiga sa hospital bed
"Nahilo lang ako, Hun"
"Nahilo? Hindi ako tanga"
"Okay calm down! I'll be fine. Masama akong damo" he teases her
"Bahala ka. I will tell Dad na hindi ka papasok for the whole month. You need to rest"
"Beatriz, that's too much. A week rest is okay"
She rolled her eyes, and the doctor came in
"Mr and Mrs Torralba!" the doctor greeted and ask "Uhm Josh is it okay?"
Bea is lost and looking at the two men in front of her
Josh nodded
"Your cancer is getting worse" the doctor said
"Wait. What? Cancer?" Bea shouted
"Hun, listen muna" saway niya sa asawa
Beatriz frowned and listened to the doctor
"It is now on stage 3, and you know naman diba that by this time chemotherapy is needed"
Joshua nodded again
the doctor continued to explain what Josh needs to do and Bea is just there, staring at her husband couldn't think straight on what is happening
when the doctor went out, napaupo si Bea beside his bed
"K-Kelan pa?" she asked
"2 years ago, your company is trembling. I don't want to stress you out, Hun. I'm sorry"
and that's when she started breaking down
she cries so much without even saying anything and he just holds her hand
"hey, pls. tama na. I'm sorry" but Bea didn't stop
"Hun, you need to stop crying" he added
"Hun, I can't lose you. I'm sorry that I wasn't there when you found out because of that stupid company"
"hey, decision ko na wag muna sabihin sayo. wag mo sisihin sarili mo o yung company. pls"

But the chemotherapy isn't working well and the weekly visits became a month long stay in the hospital already.

and that's when Bea realized that Joshua wants to rest as well.

"Bea, I won't go anywhere. I will stay beside you. I promised you that right?"
"Joshua please one more week."
" i can do that but please go home and rest"
"You promised 1 more week. okay?"
"Yes. I' promised. Now, go pack your things and bring Pepper when you come back"

"Diba Jason! Maarte lang kayo" Sagot ni Thirdy kay Sj at Anton
Naputol ang asaran nila when Brix went to them
"Birthday ko po next friday, invited po kayo. Dyan lang po sa isang bar malapit"
