Chapter Seventeen

Sarah POV:

Ryder had gone to the club house to pick up some things for dad but when he came back, he wasn't alone.

"Took ya long enough." Dad said.

"Lana! Sarah!" Hannah cheered happily and hugged each one of us.

What the fuck is Ryder's ex doing here? They broke up years ago so what the hell is she doing back and why the hell does Ryder look so nervous?

"Hannah?" Lana asked.

"I heard what happened to the two of you. I came to see how you were. What happened?" She asked.

Here to check on us my fucking ass. I knew that bitch was here for Ryder. Fucking whore.

"We were kidnapped." I told her, almost hatefully. "Oh my God. I'm so sorry." She said, hugging us both again.

God bless, get this fucking bitch off of me.

"I'm so glad you girls are okay, though. It's great to see you." She said.

Yeah, right.

"Ryder, you okay?" She asked.

Mother fucker was acting weird. I swear to God if he does something stupid to fuck up his relationship with Lana I'll fucking kill him.

"I'm good." He replied.

I could see it in his face that he was having thoughts about Hannah that he shouldn't. I thought he was better than that.

I then noticed that Hannah was staring at him, having some thoughts of her own.

"Ryder, do you think I could talk to you alone?" Hannah asked him.

I'm gonna murder this bitch.

"Um, sure. I guess." He replied, walking out of the room with her.

"What the hell?" Kade asked. "What the hell is he thinking?" I asked, mostly to myself.

Kade POV:

Ryder may be my best friend, but I swear to God if he hurts my friend, he's a dead man. She's already been through so much and she doesn't need this shit on top of it.

"Kade, go get Ryder for me." Samuel said. "Sure thing, boss." I replied and went to find him.

When I found him, I noticed Hannah was standing too close to him and he didn't do a damn thing about it.

I stormed up to them and looked at Ryder.

"Boss wants to see you." I said, almost angrily.

When he walked away, I turned to Hannah.

"What the fuck are you doing here?" I asked her. "I wanted to see Lana and Sarah." She replied. "You're a lying fucking bitch. I swear to God if you go after him, you will pay for it. He and Lana are in a fucking relationship. You need to back the fuck off." I said with venom laced in my voice.

I turned to walk into the room when I heard Hannah mutter.

"Not for long."

I turned back and stormed up to her.

"What did you just say?" I asked her. "Nothing." She said, innocently. "Back off. I fucking mean it." I said and walked away from her.

I don't hit women but for this bitch I would make a fucking exception.

I walked back into the room, taking a deep breath, trying to control my anger.

"What the fuck is she doing here?" Sarah asked. "I don't know." Lana replied.

"Lana, are you okay? You're not worried, right?" I asked her.

Poor Lana had been through way too much for another asshole to break her heart.

"A little, maybe." She replied. "I get it but we all know Ryder. He isn't the type to be unfaithful." I told her.

At least, I hope so.

"I know." She said and sighed deeply.

Finally, when Ryder walked through the door, he was alone. I hope that fucking cunt is gone.

"Where's Hannah?" Lana asked. "She left. Said she would see you when you got home." He said and kissed her cheek.

How the fuck did he not see how shady this shit was? That bitch always knew how to manipulate him. Honestly, I thought he still had feelings for her. God damn, I hope to God I'm wrong.

I looked at Sarah and saw how pissed she was. She practically had smoke coming from her ears. I kissed the top of her head and held her close to me to calm her down.

"Yeah, Lan. I'm good." He told her.

What the fuck? For weeks all he has called her was baby. I'm getting sick of this very quickly. I was ready to rip his head off.

"I love you, Ryder." Lana said, her voice wavering. "I love you too, baby." He replied.

I took a deep breath and left the room before I lost my shit on him.

The next day was the day Lana was coming home.

I felt my phone buzz in my pocket and saw a message from Samuel.

Sam: Headed back now.

I went to find Ryder to let him know and found him in Lana's bedroom.

"Hey, Samuel said he is on his way with Lan." I told him. "Thanks, man. I think I'm finished." He said and walked back downstairs with me.

"Hannah isn't gonna try to make a move on you is she?" I asked.

I couldn't help myself. I'd been dying to ask him since the bitch showed up.

"Why does everyone think she's back for me?" Ryder asked. "What do you mean?" I asked him. "Samuel thinks she's here for me too." He told me.

Are you shitting me? God, I wanted to punch him in his fucking face.

"Dude, you know she was never close to the twins. She's using it as an excuse to get close to you again. I guarantee she just got word you're back." I said, trying to get it into his fucking head. "Whatever, man." He replied.

He didn't fucking care. I saw it in his face.

"Don't do anything stupid, brother." I warned him and walked away.
