Chapter Twenty Three

Sarah POV:

I lead dad into Dean's hospital room.

"Mr. Crawford? This is my father, Samuel." I said.

Dad walked up to him cautiously and shook his hand.

"Can you tell me what happened Mr. Crawford?" Dad asked. "Like I told the doc, I was tight on money and a man I met in the Viper's club offered to give me a job. When I tried to back out he shot me." Dean told him. "What was his name?" Dad asked. "He said his name was Sonny." He replied.

Dad looked back at me and shook his head.

"I've never heard of him." He said. "Me either." I replied.

Just then, Danny stormed into the room.

"Doc." He said and lead me out of the room.

"What's up, Danny?" I asked. "What has that man told you?" He asked. "He was offered money for a job and was shot when he tried to back out and left for dead at the ware house." I told him. "I looked him up. He wasn't just hired for a job. He was part of the Hellhound MC." Danny told me.

My eyes widened. The Hellhounds were stationed in California. What the hell was he doing here?

I then rushed back into the hospital room.

"You are telling us what the hell is going on right now, Mr. Crawford." I said, angrily. "What's going on?" Dad asked.

"Hellhounds, heard of them?" I asked.

The man's face paled. Gotcha.

"I don't know.."

I cut him off.

"No more bull shit! We want answers now." I demanded. "I told.."

"Stop it! We ask, you answer, then you shut your hole, you got it?" I asked.

He finally sighed and nodded.

"What the fuck are you doing here?" Dad asked. "I was sent by my boss to keep an eye on your MC. We had an alliance with them and when they stopped returning our calls, they sent me out." Dean said.

"You're a fucking spy?" I yelled. "Why were you shot?" Danny asked. "One of your booby traps." He said. "The trip wire." I said and nodded. "Too bad it didn't kill you." Dad told him.

"Look, I'm sorry. I never wanted this. I wanted out but they threatened my sister's life." He said. "Why the hell should we believe you?" I asked. "You shouldn't but it's the truth." He replied.

"You're coming with us." Dad said, yanking him up off the bed.

Kade POV:

Ryder and I were at the ware house waiting for Samuel and the others with a man that was sent to spy on the MC.

When the truck pulled in along with the bikes, Ryder and I walked over to them.

"Boys, the is Dean Crawford." Samuel said.

I walked closer to him and just stared.

"Tie him up boys." I told them as they lead him inside.

Once he was in the chair and tied down, we stood in front of him.

"So tell us, Dean. Why were you here to spy on us?" Ryder asked. "My MC, the Hellhounds, had an alliance with the Vipers and when we lost contact, they sent me out here. I told them that Adam and his brother had been killed, they suspected that you were involved and said I wasn't to come back until I found answers. I never wanted this. I honestly didn't." He replied.

"What do they have on you?" I asked. "They're holding my sister hostage. They said they would kill her if I didn't do this job." Dean replied. "What is your sister's name?" Marley asked. "Dana." He said.

"Okay, here's what you going to do. You're calling your boss and your going to tell him what happened here today." Samuel said. "Wait.."

Sam cut me off.

"Quiet." He said and turned back to Dean.

"You're going to tell him what happened and that you got away from us. They will free your sister and we will get her a ticket and get her the fuck out of there." He told the man.

What the hell?

"How do you know I'm not lying?" Dean asked. "I can see it in your face. Those bull shit stories you told us earlier, I could see you were lying. I would do anything for my family as well so I get it. We're going to get your sister out of there but until we do, we will be watching your every move, you got it?" Samuel asked.

Dean took a deep breath of relief and nodded.

"Boss, are you sure this is a good idea?" Danny asked. "We're about to find out." Sam said and untied  one of Dean's arms and threw a phone in his lap.

"Make the call." Samuel told him.

Dean dialed the number and put it on speaker.

"Hello?" "Blaine, it's Dean." He said. "What do you have for me?" Blaine asked. "They caught onto me. I got away from them though. They had nothing to do with Adam and Cole." Dean said. "You're sure?" Blaine asked. "I'm sure. They don't know anything about it." He replied. "Alright." Blaine told him. "Will you let my sister go now?" Dean asked him. "A deal is a deal." Blaine said and hung up.

"Now what?" Dean asked. "You're going back to Cali to get your sister." Samuel told him. "Then?" Dean asked. "You live your life." I told him. "What if they find out I lied?" Dean asked.

Samuel looked back at all of us. "Come back here to Tennessee. We'll keep you and your sister safe." He said when he looked back to Dean. "Thank you. All of you." Dean replied.
