Some chapters from now on will be harder to read without wifi, sorry!

I tried to add something different to my books, so it would be nice if not everyone would start copying it.

I woke up to my phone vibrating violently on my nightstand. Jackie was still fast asleep and didn't seem bothered by my obnoxious device. It took me some time to remember why I was between these bleach white bedsheets and the same colored walls because being in another country wasn't the first thing I thought about when I opened my eyes. How I was able to forget that, I don't even know.

I took my phone in my hand — which still hadn't stopped physically notifying me — and to my great surprise I found out I was on the receiving end of my mother's excited spamming. Word for word the messages flooded in, asking me if I was still alive. I really hope she realizes these ain't free. Things like 'Did your journey go well?' and 'did you already use all of your money?' were coming in non-stop.

I grinned subconsciously and shook my head, I don't think I'll ever understand how parents can get so worried. I answered her through a free SMS service after which I got a text from Max. Last night I'd told him through text that we'd arrived safely and luckily not been seen by any of my bloodhungry teachers, who were guarding the hallways like soldiers. It was only now that he'd answered.

I moved my eyes towards the sleeping beauty across from me, sleeping as her life depended on it. "Jack?" I hissed to her, but a soft groan was all I received in response. "Want to go get breakfast?" I asked, but no more sound was audible. "No food for Jackie, that's breaking news," I mumbled and left the room to check up on Anna. She was positioned in almost the same way as Jack, yet her face was covered with her own, long hair. "Annagirl, time to wake up," I said softly, but at this point, I wasn't even sure that she was breathing.

I walked back to the room in between the two sleepers and dropped onto the couch
