  "Sit, darling" i hear and when i look up i see the old lady that lives next to me.

  "Mrs Collins!" i exclaim "I didn't know that this library was yours."

  She smiles and says "Well, we didn't talk much, did we?" i laugh "So you want to work here."

  "Yes Mrs Collins, i just moved here from Chicago and i don't want to live at my parents expenses." i start "They already bought my apartment and pay my college tuition"

  She nods and replies "I understand that and from what i know of you, i think you are a good and responsible girl."

  I smile. I really like Mrs Collins, she's like the grandma that i, unfortunately, lost some years ago.

  "The job is yours." my eyes widen in shock

  "Oh...really?" she assents "Thank you so much! I won't disapoint you!"

  "I know you won't!" she gets up and so do i. she walks to me and hugs me "You are a special girl, Athena."

  We separate and she added "Now, let's introduce you to your co-workers and show you around."

  We exit the room and Mrs Collins calls "Lisa! Come here!"

  I watch a short and chubby brunette girl emerge from a pile of books that seem that they just got delivered and walk in our direction.

  "Yes grandma?"

  "This is Athena, Athena this is Lisa."

  "Hi Lisa" i greet her

  "Hey Athena!" she greets back excitidly

  "She will start working here every afternoon, so you don't have to do all by yourself." Mrs Collins declares

  "Grandma i said that i don't mind working here most of my time." Lisa replies "Not that i don't want you here Athena, i just don't want my grandma to hire you because of me and not because you fit the job."

  "Athena fits more than well the job, don't worry Lisa."

  "Okay then" Lisa puts her arms up in defeat "Do you want a tour? There's only a few people so i can take you to take a look around and show you where things go."

  I agree and we leave Mrs Collins to help a costumer that approached.

  We start the tour with Lise explaining where the books are stored and how they organize the shelves.

  Our last stop is a little corner hidden at the back of the store and i fall in love. This is going to be my spot.

  It has a bench with some pillows and a window and a parapet perfect to land books on and study.

  "This is it!" i snap from my thought when i hear her voice "I hope we can be friends Athena"

  I smile at her and reply "I think we will. So do go to college?"
