monday
9.25 am

  Yes, it's monday again, unfortunately.

I finish filling my cat's bowl with food and water for the day and i'm on my way to class.

I'm so tired and it's only the second week of class. At least i love what i go to school for because otherwise i'd be with even less will to go to college.

I take my seat in one of the fronts seats and hear:

"Good morning Athena!" i stare in the direction of where the voice came and find a blonde, blue eyed boy looking back at me with a smile.

"Good morning! Sorry, who are you?" i ask genually confused

"I'm Luke! I'm friends with Sky and she told me about you and, as i remembered that both classes of architecture and design have to attend this lecture, i decided to look for you and introduce myself." he explains

"Oh! So you are the Luke she was talking about saturday!" i exclaim remembering my conversation with Sky, where she told me that she has this friend that has design. I didn't know that major was in this building.

"I guess i am" we laugh "It's nice to meet you!"

"You too!" i smile "I didn't know that design was in this building too! I finally know someone here" i joke

"You don't have to be all alone now" he jokes too

The speaker enters the room and we sit correctly, paying attention.

The rest of the morning me and Luke got to know each other better. He's 19, from Australia but lives here for a few years now and has a dog. Petunia! That name is so cute!

I stop at the cafe and sit in one of the free tables.

"Athena, hi!" Sarah greets me as soon as she gets close

"Hi Sarah!" i smile "How's everything?"

"Everything has been good, thank u." she thanks "What can i get you?"

"Uhm i'd like a chicken sandwich and an orange juice, please." i ask and she nods, walking away.

After a couple of minutes, Sarah brings me my order and leaves me to my books.

We already are in the midle of september and, although my exams are only in january, my professors have scheduled tasks that count towards the final grade of the semester until then so my books are my best friends.

I finish eating, pay and make my way to Collins Bookstore.

I enter the store and relax immediately. This place brings me such peace.

It's still early so, i just sit at the counter studying for a quiz that i have friday.

I have been here for an hour and i haven't seen neither Lisa or Mrs Collins. Weird.

  "Good afternoon, Athena."

I just feel the hard wood floor and a throbbing pain in my ankle. I think i sprained it.
