  "I'm going to miss you so much, honey." My mom repeats for the third time.

  "I'm going to miss you too mom, but I'll be back for dad's birthday."

  "That's in July!" She exclaims.

  "Mom, we will talk almost every day as we have been doing for the past three months, don't worry."

  She sigh, defeated, and pulls me to one more hug. I'll really miss her. It's my dad's turn to pull me in to a tight hug and he whispers in my ear, "I'll miss you, little star.". My eyes water when I hear the nickname, he hasn't called me that since I was little and showed interest in astronomy. I wipe a few tears that rolled down my face and pull away. I turn to my brother, while my parents big their goodbyes with Sky.

  "Matty." My brother wraps his strong arms around me and I hug him back tightly. "I'll miss you so much."

  "I'll miss you more, Thea, and if you need anything please call me. I'm here for you, always, even if I live in the the other side of the country." My heart tightens and I do my best to hold back the tears. Last week my brother caught me crying, after I checked my phone and saw that Ashton didn't answered that text, so I told him what happened. He kind of hates Ashton now and I can't blame him.

  "Thank you so much, Matt, for always being here for me." He plants a kiss on my forehead and I hug Olivia too and, lastly, pick my princess up.

  "I'm going to miss you Thea." Her little eyes shine with tears, as well as mine.

  "I'm going to miss you too, princess, but I promise I'll call your mom or dad so we can talk, okay?"

  "Yes!" She exclaims, excitedly and I smile, this little girl helped me a lot these days without even knowing.

  Sky bids her goodbyes to my brother, sister in law and niece and we load the cab again with our luggage and we are on our way to the airport. After a silent ride and going through the usual before boarding process, we nestle our tired bodies on our seats and get ready for the take-off.

  "Are you ready?" After a couple minutes of taking off, I hear Sky. I turn my glance to her and instantly understand what she's talking about.

  "Sky I have to accept that we never dated and that he just saw me as some fling and move on." I sigh, I really have to understand that "Did Calum say anything else about him?"

  "Yes, he said that Ashton is coming to the New Years party."

  "I'm glad he is, I don't want him to stop hanging with his friends because I'm there." I give her a small smile.

  "Athena, you are strong, I know that you can get through this and I'm always here for you."

  "Thank you, Sky, really. We know each other for only a few months but you are being a much better friend that any of my old friends ever were, you and the rest of our friend group."

  "You don't have to thank me, Thena, that's what friends are for! And I'm sure they think the same." With that sentence I realize that I never had true friends before knowing these sev...eight crazy people.
