"Prisoner 412, face the wall." Alia got up off of her bed and followed the guard's instructions. "Hold out your right arm." Alia complied and the guard walked towards her and put on a metal bracelet. She winced as it gave her a small shock. He led her outside of her cell where everyone else seemed to be doing the same thing. She looked around and she saw Octavia being led along with the rest of the delinquents and then overheard Clarke talking to her mother. Abby told her that they were going to the ground. Alia's heart began racing. Now it made sense why they had taken Earth Skills classes for the past two weeks, but it didn't make sense as to why they were sending them now. It was a wide known fact that it would take four generations before humankind could go back to Earth. The guards continued to push Alia into the line but she started to fight back when she saw a familiar face. She rushed out of the guards' grasps and into the arms of Murphy who caught her.
"Hey, what's wrong?" he asked, rubbing her back.
"They're sending us to the ground. That's why they had the prisoners take the Earth Skills class again even though most had already taken it," she rushed out, looking up at him.
"I thought the ground wasn't survivable for another hundred years."
"It's not supposed to be. They're sending us there to die."
"Well, I was gonna die anyway in a few months, so it doesn't make that much of a difference." Alia glared at his sarcasm. "Hey, it's going to be okay. Maybe something changed and they found out that their calculations were wrong." Murphy looked up and saw the guards coming towards them.
Alia looked back to the guards then back to him. "John, I'm scared," she said quietly and he pulled her into his chest.
"Everything will be okay. I will make sure that someone always protects you," he whispered to her as the guards came over and pulled her off of him.
"John!" she panicked.
"Don't fight them, Alia. Someone will always protect you. I promise." Alia nodded as she was pulled out of sight and into another line. She followed the line to the third floor of the dropship and to a seat. She strapped herself in and closed her eyes. She was going to Earth.

The machine hum stopped and Alia opened her eyes. She let out a breath she didn't even realize she was holding in. She unbuckled her seat belt and followed everyone down the levels of the dropship and to the door.
"Hey, just back it up, guys," she heard a voice say.
"Bellamy?" she said quietly to herself. She stood on her tiptoes to see over the crowd and saw him standing at the door in a guard uniform.
"Stop!" Clarke ordered as she climbed down the ladder and made her way through the crowd. "The air could be toxic."
"If the air is toxic, we're all dead anyway," Bellamy reasoned.
"Bellamy?" a voice asked. Bellamy turned his head and smiled at the girl who was coming down the ladder. She finished climbing down and slowly walked through the crowd.
"That's the girl who hid under the floor," some guy said, recognizing Octavia. Octavia ignored them and walked up to her brother with tears in her eyes.
"My God," Bellamy said as he looked over his little sister. "Look how big you are." Alia watched Octavia and Bellamy hug with a smile on her face. The siblings had a quick, quiet conversation before hugging again, Bellamy giving a small laugh before the moment was interrupted by Clarke.
"Where's your wristband?" she asked Bellamy.
"Do you mind?" Octavia asked. "I haven't seen my brother in a year."
