Once Alia and Octavia were inside the dropship, the storm started to really pick up. Finn was laying on the table and most of the delinquents were inside. Raven was working on the radio as fast as she could. Clarke sent Octavia out to find something to sanitize her tools while Alia moved to stand next to Raven. The wind whipped the parachute on the front of the dropship as a few of the boys ran to hold it down which became increasingly harder as the storm became worse.

"Hold it down!" Miller yelled to the others holding the parachute.

"I got it," another said.

"This is Raven Reyes calling Ark station," Raven repeated for what seemed to be the thousandth time. "Come in Ark station. This is Raven Reyes calling Ark station. Please come in." Clarke walked over to where Raven was sitting. "Please," Raven said under her breath. "Can anyone hear me?"

"You sure you have the right frequency?" Monroe asked.

"Yeah, I'm sure," Raven snapped.

"Raven?" Clarke asked, getting her attention. "You can do this. Okay?" Clarke went back over to Finn and Raven looked to Alia.

"You've got this," she assured her and Raven nodded before beginning again.

"Calling Ark station." She looked over to Finn and back to the radio. "Ark station, please come in. I'm on the ground with the Hundred. We need you," she said, her voice cracking as she looked at her boyfriend. "Calling Ark station. Come in Ark station. Are you there? Please, come in. Calling Ark station. The Hundred are alive. Can anyone hear me?" she asked, desperation in her voice, her hand rubbing her face.

"This is a restricted channel," a voice over the radio said. "Who is this? Please identify yourself." Raven looked at Alia and they smiled at each other, others having similar reactions around the dropship.

"This is Raven Reyes. I'm from Mecha station." A crowd began forming around Raven, Clarke coming to stand beside her. "I'm transmitting from the ground. The Hundred are alive," she reported, looking between Alia and Clarke. "Please, you need to get Dr. Abby Griffin. Dr. Abby Griffin. Now."

"Hang on, Raven," Sinclair said over the radio. "We're trying to boost your signal." The line was silent for a minute and Raven tapped her foot.

"Raven, are you there?" a new voice asked. Raven handed the headset off to Clarke.

"Mom? Mom, it's me."

"Clarke?" Abby asked, her voice breaking.

"Mom, I need your help. One of our people was stabbed by a Grounder."

"Clarke, this is the chancellor," Jaha said. "Are you saying there are survivors on the ground?"

"Yes. The Earth is survivable," Clarke reported. "We're not alone." There was a pause on the line. "Mom, he's dying. The knife's still in his chest."

"Okay," Abby said, but her voice was quickly replaced by Jaha's.

"Clarke, is my son with you?"

Clarke stopped walking back to Finn and shared a look with Alia. "I'm so sorry," Clarke said. "Wells is... Wells is dead."

There was another pause on the line before Abby came back on. "I'm gonna talk you through it step by step," she told Clarke. There was a loud metal screech from outside and everyone looked at the door, worried something would fly in.

"Clarke, give five..." Abby started, but her voice turned to static before returning again. "Medical.... Medical."

"What?" Clarke called to her mother over the sounds of the storm. "Raven, what's wrong?"
