"I'd love it if you were right about this, but did you ever consider it might be a trap?" Clarke asked as they walked through the woods.
"Yep, but since it's Unity Day I decided to have hope instead," Finn told her, wincing as he stepped over a log.
"Oh, hey, let me have a look at that," Clarke said as his hand laid over his wound. He sighed as he unzipped his jacket and pulled up his shirt. She carefully touched it and pulled her hand away, looking up to him as they shared a moment before he pulled his shirt back down. "Seriously, Finn, you're putting a lot of faith in a guy who stuck a knife in you."
"And you're sounding more and more like Bellamy."
"I'm just trying to keep us alive."
"Guys, can we just go please?" Alia asked, not wanting them to get into a fight.
"So am I," Finn finished their argument and kept walking.
"I'm guessing you're not a big fan of Unity Day?" Alia asked him as Clarke was a few feet behind them.
"Why would you say that?"
"I could hear how you talked about it earlier today with Clarke."
"I just don't think having a party every year on the day we blew up another ship is a great idea."
"Well, it could be worse."
"How so?"
"It could be your birthday."
"That would suck."
"Yeah, it does," she laughed.
"Wait, yours is? I'm so sorry..."
"It's fine," she smiled. "It just means it gets passed over, but it's okay."
"Eighteen?" he asked.
"Yeah."
"Well, happy birthday. Wanna add another important date to it?"
"What date?"
"Peace between the Grounders and us?"
"As cool as having two Unity Days on my birthday would be, I think it'll be tomorrow by the time we get to the meeting."
"Fair point," he said, making both of them laugh as Clarke caught up to them. They all continued walking through the night until they came upon a bridge as the sun started to come up. They jogged onto the bridge to find Octavia pacing there.
"So that's how you set this up," Clarke mused. "You helped him escape, didn't you?" she asked her.
"I trust him, Clarke."
"There's a lot of that going around." She looked at Finn.
"O, are you two...?" Alia asked her quietly and she blushed. "I'm happy for you."
"Really?"
"Of course," she smiled as the younger girl hugged her.
"Someone's coming," Finn alerted them. They turned around and Octavia smiled as she saw Lincoln jogging towards them and she ran to meet him in a hug. He looked up to see Clarke and he glared at her and she started to walk back before Finn caught her hand. Lincoln's gaze went to Alia and he nodded at her. She smiled back before they heard more footsteps.
"Oh my God," Clarke smiled in shock.
"Horses," Alia said, turning to look at her as three horses came into view, each with a Grounder on them.
"Hey, we said no weapons," Finn said, coming to meet Lincoln and Octavia as they saw the swords, bows, and staffs hanging off the horses.
"I was told there wouldn't be."
