***Torture
"How's Finn?" Alia asked as Clarke came up the ladder.
"He's alive so far. Is Bellamy up there?" she asked, nodding her head to the third level.
"Yeah," Octavia said. "Along with the Grounder." Clarke continued up the ladder. "Well, at least they let her in," Octavia mumbled after Clarke didn't come down. Alia sighed and leaned her head up against the wall as she slid down back into a seated position.
"Clarke!" Raven called after a minute from the first level, panic filling her voice. "He's seizing!" Clarke came rushing down the ladder and back to the first level.
Octavia's hand slipped into Alia's. "I'm worried," Octavia said to her.
"Me too." After a minute, Octavia let go of her hand and moved over to the ladder again. "What are you doing?" Alia asked, following her.
"They let Clarke in," Octavia said as she reached the top, "so they might let me in too." She pushed on the hatch, but it didn't move. "Bellamy!" she called. "Let me in!" There was no reply and Octavia started pushing on it, but gave up before climbing back down. Before anyone could say anything, Clarke came up the ladder and kept moving to the third level.
"Clarke, they locked the hatch," Octavia reported. "I just tried. How's Finn?"
"He stopped seizing, but I need to see the Grounder," Clarke said, continuing up the ladder.
"Why?" Alia asked.
"I think I know the reason that he was seizing. This," she said, holding up the knife in her hand that was once in Finn's side.
"You think the Grounder laced it with something?" Alia asked, following her train of thought and Clarke nodded before starting to pound on the hatch door.
"Hey!" she called, pounding again. "Open the door!" Octavia climbed up after her, waiting under Clarke while Alia watched from the floor. Clarke kept pounding and the hatch finally lifted, but Miller was blocking the entrance. "Get out of my way, Miller," Clarke said, her voice irritated. "Now!" Miller moved back and Clarke immediately climbed the rest of the way up, Octavia hot on her tail with Alia right behind her. Clarke walked straight over to the Grounder and got in his face, raising the knife so he could see it. "What's on this?" she asked.
"What are you talking about?" Bellamy asked, coming to stand next to her.
"He poisoned the blade," Clarke explained. "All this time," she said, looking back to the Grounder, "you knew Finn was gonna die no matter what we did. What is it?" she yelled. "Is there an antidote?"
"Clarke, he doesn't understand you," Octavia tried. Clarke looked desperately at the Grounder before Bellamy spoke.
"Vials," he said as he walked over to where a tin container of vials was sitting on one of the cargo crates. "It's gotta be here," he said and handed the tin to Clarke as she dropped the knife.
"You'd have to be stupid to have a poison around this long without an antidote," she mumbled as she looked through them. "Which one?" she asked the Grounder. The Grounder didn't say anything and just stared straight in front of him.
"Answer the question!" Bellamy yelled.
"Please," Alia said while she and Octavia walked over to Bellamy and Clarke. "You can help our friend."
"Show us, please," Octavia said.
"Which one?" Clarke said, desperation filling her voice. "Our friend is dying down there and you can stop that." The Grounder continued to say nothing, not even looking at them.
