Bellamy panted as he rolled off of Alia. "You okay?" he asked as he regained his breath, but she remained still and unspeaking. He rolled over to face her, moving a strand of hair out of her face. "Alia?"

"That was... Wow," she smiled, moving to lay on her side. "Why did you wait so long to do that?"

"Well, you said you wanted to wait until you were eighteen, so it's not my fault," he teased.

"You should have talked me out of that," she smiled. "That was incredible, Bell. You were incredible."

"Well, angel," he said, making her giggle as his hand ran up and down her arm, "you were amazing, especially for it being your first time."

"Really? I mean I could have..."

"Really," he cut her off. "You made me feel different than any other girl I've ever slept with. Even though it was torture to wait," he teased, moving on top of her again, kissing her neck slowly, "it was worth it." She smiled and closed her eyes, letting herself get caught up in the bliss of the morning. "So, it might have been before you were eighteen, but close enough," he said as he looked up to see the sunrise through the tent. "Happy birthday, sweetheart."

"Best birthday present ever," she smiled, bringing him down for another kiss. "Happy Unity Day," she said as they broke apart.

"Happy everything," he said before continuing to kiss her.

"My friends, this is a historic Unity Day. Every year, we mark the moment our ancestors of the twelve stations joined to form the Ark, but this is the last time we do so while aboard her," Jaha said, giving his annual speech as the delinquents crowded around the screen to watch. "Next year on the ground," he smiled as claps ensued.

"Right. After we did all the work," Miller said. "Someone shut him up."

"You shut up, Miller. No one's forcing you to watch," Raven told him, Alia standing next to her.

"For ninety seven years, we have eked out an existence hoping that someday our descendants would return to Earth..." Jaha continued.

"Whoo! Yeah!" Jasper cheered as he walked out of a tent, coming over to the large group. "Monty strikes again! Call this batch Unity Juice!" he yelled, carrying a large jug over his head. "Who's thirty?" The delinquents cheered, all trying to get to some of the moonshine.

"To our sons and daughters on Earth listening to this message, we will see you soon," Jaha continued as Raven and Alia stayed to watch the speech. "The first Exodus ship will launch in under sixty hours carrying the reinforcements that you need, so stay strong. Help is on the way." There was more applause. "For the past week, we have seen the true soul of our people," he continued to drone on.

"Reminds me of the Unity Days back on the Ark," Alia mused, watching the screen.

"Oh, you mean the ones where you would ignore the parties I tried to throw you for your birthday and we would go watch his boring speech," Raven said, looking at her.

"Yes, those," she said before smiling as Raven nudged her in the shoulder. "The speeches weren't always that bad. Besides, the best part is the pageant."

"But enough from me," Jaha started to finish. "You are all here for the pageant anyway, right?"

"See?" Alia asked as the pageant started, the kids carrying different flags, walking in a circle as a girl in the middle said the traditional speech, music playing in the background.
