His Sister's Keeper - Part 2

"How long are we supposed to wait?" Jasper asked, breaking the silence they had been sitting in.

"Will this even work?" Monroe asked.

"We'll find out," Finn said.

"No, we won't," Bellamy said, moving his hand from on top of Alia's to lift up the tent so he could move his head out. "There's no fog," Bellamy reported and the others moved their heads out.

"Maybe it was a false alarm," Finn guessed as they stood up. They looked and saw a Grounder walking.

"They're coming back," Bellamy said.

"I think he's alone," Jasper whispered as he looked around.

"Now can we run?" Monroe asked Bellamy.

"He doesn't see us," Bellamy observed as the Grounder walked off. "I'm going after him."

"And what?" Finn asked. "Kill him?"

"No. Catch him. Make him tell me where Octavia is, then kill him."

"Bellamy, he may just lead us to her. We don't need to kill him," Alia proposed as they followed him, but Bellamy said nothing. Jasper and Monroe sighed.

"How do we know he's not leading us to another trap?" Jasper asked Finn and Alia.

"We don't," Finn answered. They followed the Grounder silently, keeping their distance as he entered a cave. Bellamy went in first, followed by Alia, Finn, Jasper, and Monroe. They could hear chains rattling and a thud. Bellamy took a breath, making sure they all had their weapons ready before turning the corner.

"Bellamy?" Octavia asked.

"Octavia," Bellamy sighed in relief as he rushed over to her, the others following.

"Get the key," she said and he unlocked the lock and took off her chains.

"Monroe, watch the entrance," he ordered as he finished slipping off the chains. Monroe left as Octavia embraced Bellamy in a hug and Finn and Jasper looked at the unconscious Grounder laying on the floor.

"It's okay," he breathed as he stood up holding her. "You're okay."

Octavia pulled away from Bellamy and limped over to Alia, giving her a hug. "How did you find me?" Octavia asked as Alia let go and she moved to hug Jasper.

"Followed him," Jasper said and looked at the Grounder.

"We should go, now," Octavia said as she pulled away from Jasper. "Before he wakes up."

"He's not gonna wake up," Bellamy said and walked to the wall, grabbing one of the Grounder's spears.

"Bellamy, stop. He didn't hurt me. Let's just go," Octavia pleaded.

"They started this," Bellamy said as he raised the spear. "Finn, move," he said as Finn leaned over the Grounder.

"Foghorn," Finn mumbled as he saw the horn on the Grounder's belt. Before he could say anything else, the Grounder rolled over and stabbed Finn in his side with a knife, swinging his legs under him, knocking Finn down before standing up and fighting Bellamy. Octavia and Alia rushed over to Finn while Bellamy and the Grounder both held onto the spear, trying to push each other. The Grounder got the upper hand and knocked Bellamy down, pointing the end of the spear at Bellamy's throat. Bellamy held onto the sides of the blade, trying to push it away.

"Bellamy!" Alia called out in panic.

"Stop! That's my brother!" Octavia cried to the Grounder. The Grounder continued to push the spear and Bellamy was losing his grip. Suddenly, the Grounder was on the ground, unconscious once again. They all looked to see Jasper standing with another spear in his hands. Alia let out a small sigh of relief before looking back to Finn as Jasper came over. Bellamy stood up and walked over, panting slightly.
