ANGELOS POV.
"Come on Angelo, they won't let you stay here forever."
"What do you mean?" I asked as I looked around the dim room.
"Everyone is gone. It's time to leave." Dad tried to nudge me towards the door.
"Where did everyone go?"
He gave me a sad look.
What is happening?
"I'm sure you can visit the cemetery tomorrow."
Cemetery?
"Dad, why the hell would I go to a cemetery?"
"Look son, I know losing a child is not easy bu-,"
"I didn't lose a child."
He stopped, and turned towards the almost pitch black part of the room.
Following his gaze, I began to walk in that direction.
The closer I got, the more visible things became.
"Mercury?" I tried to nudge her awake.
She was pale.
Too pale.
She was wearing a crisp white dress. Her arms were covered in purple bruises, and she had blood trickling from the side of her mouth.
Her left side held a small red stain, which began to grow.
It was then I noticed that we were wearing black.
This isn't right.
"She's not dead." I told my father.
He just stood there, staring at her.
"Angelo."
"She's not dead!" I repeated again.
"Angelo."
"She's still alive!" I yelled as I felt my lungs begin to constrict.
I looked back down at her.
But she was gone.
"Mercury!"
"Angelo."
I turned to my father.
"What the hell did you do with her?!"
"Angelo!"
My breathing became increasingly worse.
"Wake up!"
My eyes widened as I looked up at my mother, not knowing what the fuck was happening.
I was dripping with sweat, and I felt as if I was just hit by a bus.
"W-what is-," why the hell cant I finish a sentence?
"I-I think you were having a panic attack in your sleep."
"I'm fine." I brushed, well at least I tried to brush my mothers hands off of me.
"Angelo, you know this whole not sleeping for days thing isn't healthy." She fussed at me.
