As soon as our orders came, we quietly indulged in our meals with a frequent eye contact to which he blushed and looked away from while I smiled gently, staring at his reddened face as if to impale it into my memory.

Which I mostly did.

"So what are your company's plan now? You know, after the break thing." He started off, shrugging his shoulders as he took a smal sip of his wine.

I quickly swallowed the piece of turkey meat down my throat before answering, "We're about to have a comeback in a few weeks. However, the filming would be next week."

He nodded along, following my words and that's one of the things I loved about him. He didn't just listen— he listened like he actually cared. He didn't just seem interested with what I did but he took note of everything that we talked about. He distinguishes people with the knowledge that he knows because he cares.

Maybe that was one of the reasons that make him so sad.

"Since I'm your nice neighbor and we've been seeing each other for a 2 months and a few weeks now, care to leak some of this comeback spoilers?" He asked, a smirk starting to form on his lips.

I smiled at that.

He didn't think of this as just a neutral relationship, he actually was interested in me.

However, his request would get me killed.

"I'm sorry, SM would kill me if someone knew." I chuckled, watching his smirk form into a pout instead as he stared sadly at me.

We talked more. And more. And even more.

In that short amount of time, I felt like I've known him my entire life. He was open about himself and loved talking to people. He didn't seem to get enough social experience as much and he told me about it. He loved being connected yet at times he felt suffocated and desires to be in his own comfort when it comes. He loved strawberry and vanilla ice cream, loved summer and rain the most which we both laughed at since it was very contradictory with each other. He liked dogs but he hated it when they barked or followed him.

After a brief history of his life, it made me feel more closer to him than I already did. But the night was still young, and I was planning on bringing him somewhere. So after we ate dessert and after I had paid the bill, I took his hand in mine as we walked towards my car.

"Wow, that actually made me full." He giggled, his eyes searching for mine.

I looked down and hummed, "Well, we're not done yet. I'm taking you somewhere."

He gasped, giving me a surprised look. His doe eyes widened, and I couldn't help but admire the deep chocolate hues he had that acted like smooth thin strings to the slightly dilated irises.

I was about to show him something that I've held dear. It's been years since I've last been there and it was all because of my hectic schedule. It was my dream— to sing and become someone worthy to be looked up on. Because idols, singers, rappers and dancers alike, gave hope to young children who wanted to become like them. I used to be one of those kids.

I took the longer route to reach the place, only because I wanted to be away from the city landscapes as soon as I could and luckily for me, I went around the city a lot to know almost every street and shortcuts there may be.

Not too long after, we reached the mountains, 30 minutes away from the city as I drove down the quiet road. There were barely any buildings at this part and glancing at Taeyong, I saw the reaction that I anticipated he would make.
