"Oh— these are good!" I exlaimed, my eyes widening as I savored the taste of pure maple syrup with the butter and waffles together. The omelette rice was placed in front of me, the steam still wafting through the air as it sat on the marble counter.

I heard the refrigerator open before I took a quick look to see Jaehyun pouring himself a glass of water, with ice cubes.

"Why are you drinking cold water? It's too early and your stomach might hurt since you haven't eaten anything yet." I warned, reaching down to take a spoonful of the omelette rice he made before quickly walking over to stop him from drinking.

"Just at least one bite." I persuaded and he immediately grinned, his dimples softly showing as he stared at me.

I pushed the spoon into his mouth and I quickly pulled away to eat my fair share of food.

"Should we make some for Ten? He's been texting me about last night."

I rolled my eyes, my mouth stuffed with the warm meal, the egg melting softly in my mouth and the cheese just added a little extra taste that made it even better.

However thoughts of last night flooded my head. I didn't have any words to describe it. It felt new and I felt free and Jaehyun twisted some strings within me that I could never pull myself. It made me much more glad that we spent this morning without talking about it. We've made a clear line to minimize the sad tears within this relationship at any costs. He seemed to be doing a good job with making me feel a lot different than I used to.

"Oh, shall we do it together?" Jaehyun asked which pulled me away from my thoughts as he placed his glass of water down on the counter before turning around to rummage through my kitchen.

"Yeah, we can." I shrugged.

He seemed to open a drawer and I could hear the egg container open before he walked around the kitchen.

My body turned to him to ask him, "What time do you want to— ah!" But before I could even finish, I saw an egg right in front of my face, not being able to pull away as it hit my head.

My body froze ad I could hear Jaehyun stifling a laugh.

"If you didn't move, it wouldn't be all over your face!" He defended and I tried my best to see throuh the sticky film over my eyes as I glared at him, "What were even doing?!" I shouted.

I felt kind of angry but seeing him struggle to keep his laughter in made my shoulders shake as well, a small grin making it's way on my lips.

"Well, I—"

Words seemed to clog in his throat as he tried to form a sentence as if his vocabulary just blanched in his brain, drained from all his laughter.

"Well, you wouldn't understand!" He finished off, a chuckle leaving his throat as he sneakily placed te broken egg shell in is hand on top of the table. At his answer, a frown formed on my face before forming into a pout.

I rolled my eyes at him, "Well, I'm sorry I don't understand! It's because I don't go around using heads to crack eggs!"

His head threw back before a load laugh left him, his hand holding his stomach, his voice resonating around the whole kitchen, my ears piercing at the loud sound.

"Okay, okay, let's go take a shower. I'll help you rinse it off."

He calmed down and walked over towards me, reaching over to touch my shoulders but I squinted my eyes at him in return, pulling my shoulders away before he could touch me, "Do you think I'd let you off just like that?"

A playful glare blazed in my eyes and confusion dawned into Jaehyun, his head tilting to the side to figure me out.

Suddenly, his eyes widened before he stepped back, "Wait, Taeyong, no— let's talk this out—"

Before he could walk away any further, my hand reached out to the left out glass of water on the table before pouring it over his head.

Priceless.

A snort sounded from me as I stared at his shocked face, his hands moving to push his wet bangs out of the way as he glared at me. A deadly look overthrew his laughing face and I couldn't help but shy away from my confident stance, rounding the corner of the counter to move away from his as fast as possible.

"That's how you wanna play, huh?" An evil smirk went over his lips before he literally zoomed past through the kitchen to reach me.

His arms wrapped around my middle as he placed me on the countertop. A squeak left my mouth to which I raised my hand up to cover my mouth to stop myself from making any more embarrassing sounds.

Not planning to back down, I kicked around just for him to let me go and when I managed to slink my way through his death vice grip, I pushed him down onto the floor.

"Ugh..." He groaned, the light thud of his back reaching both of our ears however I was in no position to worry since his arms caught him just in time for his fall. He seemed to not move any further and I took it as my sign of victory.

I bit my lip to stop my smile as I stared down at him.

"I win." I mocked, my tongue poking out as I teased him.

He only snickered before his head suddenly raised up and bit my tongue harshly.

"AH!" A horrified look was on my face as I looked at him. My tongue stung a bit however it still hurt enough that it made me hiss.

My pain only fueled his excitement as he laughed before he leaned forward as if to kiss me and I immediately raised my hand to push him back, a chuckle bubbling in my throat.

"Yah! Who do you think you are?!" I asked, a laugh inserted in between my broken words.

His brows knitted before he raised a brow as if to challenge me, "Uh— your handsome, premium edition boyfriend?" He wiggled his brows at me and I couldn't help the laugh that he managed to get out of me.

"Well, you probably shouldn't. Raw egg flavored lips are not good." I smirked.

He shrugged, a smile forming it's way on his face as well, "As long as those lips are yours then I'm good."

This smooth bastard.

I rolled my eyes, my ears lightly pink as the smile never left my face as I stood up, pullng him up with me, "First off, let's take that shower. I don't want the egg to dry on my hair."

My nose scrunched up at the thought, the scare of the hard locks of hair tangled together with a sticky substance that had dried the strands together like glue. That was.... utterly disturbing for someone who took great care of their hair— like me.

Okay, hair first.

"Yes, then my kisses." He nodded, seemingly so sure of himself.

I only shook my head at his eagerness.

"Sure thing, loverboy."
