"Elliana, I swear to god, if you don't let go of me, I will hit you," Esther threatened

Jackson was on his way to the cafe and Elliana was nervous so she clung to Esther. It was a Saturday so business would be more hectic so it was a good thing that Jackson was coming.

"Elliana, let go of your sister. I need you on the floor," Nathaniel said, walking passed them

"Yes, Elliana. Get off of me and go clean the tables," Esther taunt, elbowing her in the stomach

"Ow!" Elliana exclaimed, moving away from Esther

"I should've done that earlier," Esther stretched

"Good morning, Esther," Jackson greeted as he walked into the cafe

"Good morning, Jackson. How are you?" Esther smiled

"I'm doing good. Did I come at a right time?" He looked around

"Yeah, rush hour is about to start, so get to helping your girlfriend," Esther smirked, pushing an apron to him

"Esther, you shouldn't say that out loud," Jackson took the apron

"Oh, Jacky. You are in for a big treat," Esther patted his shoulder and attended to a customer

Jackson and Elliana worked the floor, cleaning the tables or asking if the customers needed anything.

It was the end of the day which meant that Nathaniel was going to speak to Jackson in private.

"Elliana, for the love of god, let go of me. Nothing bad is going to happen," Esther groan, pushing Ellliana away from her

"Esther, this is excruciating," Elliana whined

"Elliana, your not in there being interrogated by dad, but right now, let's get your mind occupied," Esther pulled her to the kitchen to wash dishes and clean the whole cafe

In the meanwhile, Nathaniel and Jackson were upstairs in his office.

"Mr. Rochester, is there a problem?" Jackson asked, sitting down in a chair

"I heard everything from Elliana, so we need to have a talk," Nathaniel said, sitting down

"W-wait! She told you?" Jackson was shocked

"Yes, but I had my assumptions, so I asked her and then she told me the truth. She also told me you were wanting to tell me, but you didn't for her sake," Nathaniel stated

"That's true, but I apologize for not telling you. Please don't be mad at Elliana fot keeping this against you," Jackson bowed his head

"I'm just upset that I didn't see this happening, but I'm glad that your the one she's with, but just know I'm not letting this go. Your going to earn my trust and respect back," Nathaniel explained

"I'll do anything that you want me to do. I really care for Elliana, Mr. Rochester,"

"Why aren't you calling me Sir Nathaniel. Are you that scared of me?" Nathaniel chuckled

"If I'm being honest, I am," Jackson chuckled, rubbing the back of his neck

"You'll be fine if you don't hurt Elliana. Shes probably worrying and driving Esther nuts," Nathaniel stood

"If you don't mind me asking, but why are you so against Elliana being with me or getting into a relationship?" Jackson asked, the question he's always been curious about

"You may think of me as being unreasonable since their 20, but I'm overprotective them since of what happened before they were born and what's happen to Esther. Once you have children, you'll want to do everything for them to stay safe and in your sights, but one day, they'll want to leave and live their own lives. For me, I just want to keep them in my sight and for them to not leave, but that's impossible, so I'm going to ask you Jackson to take care of Elliana. Don't let her get into harm's way," Nathaniel said, patting Jackson's shoulder and walking out of the room

Jackson followed after him, "I'll do everything in my power for Elliana to stay safe and out of danger. I'll do the same for Esther,"

"Thank you, Jackson, but for right now, you have to earn my trust,"

They walked downstairs and stopped at the sight they see. Elliana being carried by Esther, who was running around the tables.

"Esther!" Elliana squealed, tightening her hold

"This is what you get for clinging on to me for too long,"

"If it's not someone harming them, its themselves," Nathaniel sighed but a smile creeping on his face

"Girls, what are you doing? You could've hurt yourselves," Nathaniel asked, walking closer to them

"Dad!" "Father!" Esther and Elliana yelled, Esther coming to a complete stop and Elliana getting off her

"So, would you care to explain what was happening?" Nathaniel asked

"I was giving Elliana a piggy back ride since she kept clinging to me," Esther said stretching

"Esther, you could've hurt your back," Nathaniel stated, worried

"But, I didn't. Now enough after me, what is going to happen to Jackson," Esther asked, her hands behind her back

"Esther, you care for me. I thought all this time, you hated me," Jackson sarcastically said, his hand over his chest

"Haha, I just want to know what's going to happen if your going to be my future brother in law or a nobody?" Esther said, grinning at him

"Esther, that's rude. You know Father wouldn't do that," Elliana said, but she was also scared

"Now, now. It's only a conversation between me and Jackson, no one else, but he can continue to come to the cafe and drop Elliana off from work," Nathaniel said, yawning, "So, you should get going Jackson before you get in trouble with your parents,"
