"Wow! This place looks fancy," Esther said, taking in her surroundings

"The food is great," Jackson said, sitting beside Elliana

"You ate here before?" Esther asked, intrigued

"Of course, this is my parents favorite restaurant,"

"Oh, well you better recommend me something delicious," Esther looked at the menu

"I will. Now, where is that waiter?" Jackson looked around

"Dad, have you been here before?" Elliana asked

"Yes, I liked it. I've always wanted to take the both of you here and I finally did," Nathaniel smiled, looking at the menu

"Good evening. Sorry for the wait, today has been a busy day. So, what would you like to drink?" The waiter stated, taking out his notepad

"Bring your finest wine," Nathaniel said, "And water also,"

"Of course. Would you like any appetizer? Or are you ready to order?"

"Can we get the cheesy bread and potato dauphinois ?" Elliana said, looking up at the waiter

"Yes. Do you need time to choose?"

"Yes, this is our first time eating here," Elliana said

"Of course. I'll be back in a few minutes," The waiter smiled and left

"Jackson, I need your help," Esther said, showing him the menu, "I'm stuck between these two,"

"The Chicken Fricassee is good if you like your chicken soaked in sauce and the Chicken Cordon Bleu Skillet is pasta with shredded chicken but the plate is big," Jackson explained

"Oh, I might just get Chicken Cordon Bleu Skillet. I want to be on the safe side because I want to enjoy my food," Esther said, nodding to herself

"What do you recommend, Jackson?" Elliana asked

"The Coq au Vin is a chicken dish with vegetables that sits in soup and Poulet Basquaise which is a chicken dish also but it's soaked with tomato sauce and other ingredients,"

"Hm, how about this?" Elliana asked

Esther looked away from them and looked at Nathaniel, "What are you getting, Dad?"

"I'm getting the Magret de Canard as that's been my favorite dish," Nathaniel smiled

"Oh, what's that?" Esther asked, trying to find it on her menu

"Its duck meat with potatoes on the side,"

"Oh, your keeping it safe also," Esther smiled

"Yes even I always got full. I'll give you some if you give me some of your dish," Nathaniel said

"Deal," Esther held out her hand and Nathaniel shook hers, chuckling

The waiter came back and took their orders before serving them their wine and water. He left and the 4 of them talked about their day or other topics.

"Dad," Esther whined, "Stop eating my food, your going to finish it,"

"Esther, sharing is caring," Nathaniel said, taking a bite

"Then, I'm getting a dessert," Esther said, looking for a menu

"Go right ahead. Today is a special day and a dessert sounds good right about now," Nathaniel said, looking around for the waiter

Esther looked around too, but her eyes connected with a woman's. Esther looked away and called out to their waiter.

"Yes?"
