The ball passed. Elliana and Esther receiving invitations to tea parties or get togethers. Their known as the 'royal twins'. The name striking a fear into them, but once they came to know why they were called it. Their were relieved. The reason they're called the 'royal twins' is because they danced with Anastasios and Lukas and King Oslo and became acquaintances with Princess Olivia. Noble women and ladies say that they are lucky to be associated with the royal family. So, it made the nobles try to be on the girls good side.

"I've heard a interesting rumor," Lady Nicole said, grinning

"What's the rumor?"

"That Lady Elliana is seeing Count Jackson Barrett,"

"Oh my, is it true, Elliana?" Everyone began to gush

"And what if I said its true," Elliana grinned

"Oh my!" Everyone gushed, bombarding her with questions

Esther giggled at the questions as Elliana tried to answer them.

"What about you, Esther?"

"What about me?" Esther asked, confused

"Do you have someone?"

"Oh, no," Esther shook her head, "I haven't thought of that. I guess I want to be free and single for a while,"

"Well, at least, I'm not the only one," One of the ladies said, letting out a relief sigh

"Really?" Esther said, surprised

"Well, of course. I want to explore the world before I get married even I haven't found the right one,"

"Susie, you do know, you won't be able to pick your husband, right?"

"I know, but if I do then I'll get married to him right away,"

"What if you find him after your married?"

"Then I'll forget about him as I'll be married or I can have a lover. I mean if men can have a mistress then why can't women?"

"Your right about that," Esther said, "Men aren't given crap about their mistresses, but when its us, women, were called whores or sluts. Saying we are sinners while we have a husband who has a mistress and possibly a illegitimate child. It's not fair,"

There was silence until one of the ladies spoke, "What if you were the mistress? What would you say now?"

"I won't become a mistress because I have dignity for myself. Even I can't allow myself to ruin a marriage. I'm not trying to judge women who are mistresses, they are brave that's for sure as they can be judged and they put so much trust into that man," Esther explained

"You're right, but it's all up to the woman," One of them sighed

"Okay, enough with this depressing topic. Let's move on,"

"My heels are killing me," Esther groan, kicking them off as she sat on her bed

"You'll get used to it," Elliana said taking hers off and putting flats on

"I hope so if not, I'm just going to be covered with blisters," Esther rub her feet and pull flats on

"Don't worry. Now, let's get to work," Elliana patted Esther's shoulder and walked out of the bedroom

Esther followed after her and went to the register. She still wasn't allowed in the kitchen, she can only be in there under supervision of Nathaniel.
