"Are you sure you'll be fine?" Nathaniel asked once again, buttoning up his coat

"Yes, dad. You don't need to worry. I'll be fine. Now go before Elliana is late for school," Esther giggled

Nathaniel nodded and left with Elliana. Esther let out a sigh once they left. For the past week, Nathaniel has been asking Esther many questions on how she feels and if she remembers him or Elliana. He also made Miss Suzanna take Elliana to school the day after Esther's 'disorientation'.

"Today is going to be a good day, i know it," Esther boosted and walked into the kitchen

She placed all the baked goods in the display, making sure the coffee is warm and brewing, the drinks in the fridge were stocked. Once the clock striked 7am, Esther walked to the door, turning the sign from closed to open and unlocking the door. She stood behind the counter and waited to tend to a customer.

"Stop acting like a baby or we'll really get caught," Esther looked up and saw two teenage boys walking towards the display

"Lukas, your parents are strict so sorry for me being a scaredy cat,"

"Now, you know why I don't want to stay there. They are just too controlling and demanding,"

"Well, in your position of course they would,"

"Anastasios, you are in the same position as me but your parents aren't tough on you like me. Like they want me to marry young,"

'He has a interesting life, but it's time to take their orders.' Esther walked over to the display, "Good morning, how can I help you today?"

"Are these all baked?" The 'Lukas' boy asked

"Yes, they are. So, which one would you like?"

"Non-,"

"Can I have the chocolate twister and two kolaches," The 'Anastasios' said, pointing to the goods

Esther nodded and carefully grabbed them each with different paper and placed the twister in the bag while the kolaches in the microwave then she looked at the Lukas boy, "Do you want anything?"

"A glazed donut and a raspberry filled one," He said, his cheeks burning

'Odd.' Esther grabbed the goods and placed them in a different bag and then grabbed the kolaches from the microwave and placed them into the main bag for the Anastasios boy.

"So, is this it? No drinks?" Esther asked, ringing up the prices on the register

"How much is the apple juice?" Anastasios asked

"$1.25," Esther replied

"I'll get one. Do you want one, Lukas?"

"Do you have hot chocolate?" Lukas asked

"Yeah, what size?"

"Medium,"

Esther nodded and walked to the hot chocolate machine. She pressed a button after placing a cup underneath it. The door bell rang, "I'll be right there,"

"Esther, it's your old man," Nathaniel said, walking behind the counter

"Oh, your back. What did the teachers say about Elliana?" Esther asked, placing a cup cover on and turning back to the boys

"That she's doing well and she's a student in the top 5%,"

"Well, Elliana has been the smart one," Esther said, punching in the prices, "Okay, your total will be $8.21,"
